Love the makeup Tony but I think you need a foundation 2-3 shades darker to match your skin. Especially because you have lighter hair, the lighter foundation washes you out. And your tan skin makes you look healthier. Also conceal your facial hair with an orangey peachy concealer 1st then apply foundation. Just my thoughts! Love you and enjoyed the tea haha

Tony you're amazing and I can relate a lot to your struggles. You're very cautious of people and not considering someone a friend for at least a year etc. is part of the reason we feel alone a lot because it's a way of keeping distance from people so it's hard to not feel alone when we don't bring them close. I've worked on this a lot and am making progress.

Thanks for sharing your story so bravely and intimately. I found it very relatable, and noticed a lot of commonalities in my own life. It's hard to escape the demons we inherit from our family, sometimes I feel like it'll follow me around forever. In the end, it's just the anxiety and depression warping our thinking. We are capable of improving ourselves over time with the right tools, even if it feels like a horrible painstaking process. I think your therapy is probably helping a lot, so stick with it for sure. You seem to be quite self-aware of why certain things happened the way they did, and you're trying to fix it now. So don't be too hard on yourself, you're learning and growing. Tony, I SO agree about the damage you can suffer emotionally from closing off your inner-child. I am in university and super mature at work but I am also so child like and I feel like some people misinterpret that for being immature. There is no need to grow up so fast in this cold world! we need to spread love and innocence just like a child does! (but I'm also the same as you, I tend to parent my friends and it even annoys me at times but it's a hard habit to stop when you worry)

Hi Tony! I just love your spirit. I "dated" someone like this and there could be different reasons it didn't work out so please don't blame yourself. Sometimes that person can be used to being rejected so the opposite happening or the thought of getting close to someone really freaks them out. In situations like that there is really nothing you can do to change them. Only time can do that and it just wasn't the right time. If it is meant to be it will happen though. Even you blocking him won't stop it. But I think you are a gem and there are plenty who would agree. It just has to be the right time in their life as well. 💓

Tony, I’m still in the middle of the video, but I’m wondering when you last had a vacation. Like a full-on vacation, with airplane tickets, and a stamped passport? I know life gets us so busy with commitments, we never seem to find the time to heal ourselves and calm our minds. You need to go on a trip of self-discovery. I don’t know if you’ve watched a movie called “The Way” or not, but you should. The story takes place on the Camino de Santiago in Western Europe. Apparently it’s a very famous walking trail where people go, often alone, and rediscover themselves. A lot of famous people have done it, and have shared their stories of how it revitalized them. Just a thought, but something I’ve thought about doing, and could imagine you enjoying.

I have BPD and DBT group therapy was amazing for me :) extremely helpful and I feel like you’d really take it seriously and be into it and gain a lot of support and recourses from that type of therapy approach and all of the skills they practice

I'm in DBT! It is a requirement to see a therapist in tandem with the program. I also see a psychiatrist for my medication. I have Kaiser for insurance and it's ALL completely covered with no office visit fees or anything. I have been through CBT as well and the DBT class I'm in right now is really great 💜. Mental health coverage has improved! Check with your insurance to see what your coverage is for a DBT program 😊

39:47 Yes! Certain health insurance covers therapy. It just all depends on what insurance you have and what kind of therapy you’d need. For instance you wouldn’t need a psychiatrist, you’d need to just see a counsleor for talk therapy. And a lot of companies cover a certain amount of sessions a month
Many times the obstacles and problems in our lives are learning and situations that are put to us to grow and learn as a person! you're the best

Most health insurances do cover some form of therapy. My last insurance even covered marriage counciling.
