No one ever realizes how short of a walk it is. Not sure if that’s the draw of staying there, but the view with the water is excellent
One big factor why we stayed there is its walking distance to springs so yeah i guess its a main draw.
Oh yes, I think the close proximity to Disney Springs is the best perk of staying at Saratoga Springs for sure

Disney Springs has some of the best dining on WDW property. Better and more unique shopping. Better desserts. The main reason we stay at SSR is the budget friendly overnight accommodations, and Disney Springs just makes it all the more appealing.
Now this was pretty peaceful nice and quiet walk in the afternoon and a view of the water plus I don't know when was the last time you did Saratoga Springs thanks for taking us on the walk
This walk is very nice for sure! I last filmed a tour of Saratoga Springs last July I believe, and I’ll be back again soon to do a full tour again
Wow , this totally brings back an amazing core memory! Back in the day Disney had an event called ‘Waking Up With Sleeping Beauty’. I stayed at Saratoga Springs hotel so I could walk over early in the morning. There was a limited amount of people in the theater, and there were Imaginear’s who worked on the movie. We were able ask questions, which was amazing, and after that we all watched the movie. I wish Disney would still do these type of events, I’m sure people would pay a lot!

Oh wow that’s so cool! I also miss these fun events Disney used to do back in the day. I agree, I feel like plenty would still wanna do stuff like that even if Disney charged an insane amount for it! Glad I could bring this memory back to you, thank you as always!
We wanted to go direct fro a Park to Disney Springs so we actually took a bus to Saratoga and made this exact walk to get over to Springs rather than taking 2 busses. Great way to get there!

Stayed in building 1500 last month. Three minute walk into the Springs. It was ideal for dining, or just browsing the shops, in the evenings. Also, gave me a bit of a Salt & Straw addiction though.
ah the Saratoga was our 1st hotel when we came for the 1st time ❤️

Nice stroll... (although I was thinking at the boat launch that you should hop a boat to POFQ for begneits and coffee!!). Love the BGM as you approach Springs!! Thank you for this share!! Gives thoughts for a possible alternate resort (rent DVC points) in Saratoga Springs for when my parents come with me in another year!!
Haha oh I could honestly go for a trip to French quarter for some beignets!! What I also like about Saratoga is that it’s pretty affordable compared to all the other deluxe resorts! And this walk is just beautiful and always enjoyable too. Thanks so much as always 😊
🐴That was an interesting perspective I didn't know existed. You know I would have turned right across from the balloon & got lost 😁Depending how you want to use vacation time, this has you seeing the volcano fire daily while not walking among the Spring crowds. It's not always about being closest to the parks, but just being available to get to them. A quieter spot matters sometimes😴 BTW: timewise, how long were you in the Moana queue? I enjoy learning something new, thx 4💜
It honestly does look like you could also go right to get there lol. Having a room view that shows the volcano would be pretty awesome! So I entered the Moana virtual queue at like 3:15pm and got called at 5:45pm. And once I got “in line” after getting called, I walked right into the attraction (earlier in the day there was an insane line even after you got called). Thanks so much Liz!!

We stayed at the Saratoga Springs once
Never Again, we had a deluxe studio but we had no place to put our clothes & no place to put our suit cases & top it off, we were always had to wait for an hour or so for the bus so we were always late for something
To say we weren’t pleased is a understatement, my Dad was angry
Our sleeping arrangements wasn’t ideal either, the sofa bed I was supposed to sleep on was hard as a rock so my poor Dad slept on the sofa bed while I slept with my Mom
So yeah, we were pretty upset about the whole situation
The only plus was we were really close to Disney Springs, just have to cross the bridge you went on
I have to ask, if there was a gator on the edge of the water would you have kept walking or abandoned mission? lol
Haha I mean I honestly would have tried to film it first, and then just continue on with the walk!
Does Disney Springs have VIP parking, or is it all basic parking?
4K is that the boat that takes passengers to Port Orleans?
