Great video boys. Even nicer shoes. Got some video requests for the future please: 1. how to get your wrists to power through the shot like jos buttler and rashid khan do. Not the helicopter shot, but the "snake shot" I think? Basically throwing your wrists into the ball like they do in golf a bit. 2. Some pull shot variations: Pulling off your front leg like Gill does. Pulling with the front leg up lifted up swivel pull. Ben McDermott's short arm jab pull. 3. I know you have videos on playing inside out, but i still struggle with it a bit, so a isolation/fault finder video for that if possible so I can see where I'm going wrong. 4. There is a length just fuller than half-volley and just short of a yorker where I feel I don't have room to drive. It's the length where if I take a stride forward I'll york myself. So a progression series for a shot to punish that ball, I believe by dropping your back leg for leverage. You could even tie this in with the inside out shot like suresh raina used to do with the back knee on the ground. 5. How to dominate against swing bowling. We use a 2-piece ball and our team struggles to get any real momentum when batting for the first 10 overs or so. How can we counter-attack when the ball is hooping? What shot options do we have against which swing? etc. 6. Cricket specific gym series to increase power. I've seen your top 10 handspeed video and also your 3 swing mistakes video for power. I've messed around with elastic bands, but looking for better alternatives. There's a few blokes in the team that are so fast-twitch and 'punchy', even their defensive shots just rocket off the bat. So how do I develop that punch? 7. Video on assessing conditions and how that affects shot choice or bowling choice. for example, what shots to "put away" until you're settled in, how to score on a lush outfield where ball doesn't travel without going over the top, how to manipulate the field etc. Rainy conditions where ball is slippery and skiddy. 8. Captaincy videos: when to bowl someone, when to change ends for players, field placing etc.
Those are some lovely suggestions, I can see that they haven't been picked up. so I'll try to do something. I'm an ECB Certified Core coach so I try to suggest some drills you might want to try to achieve these. 1, For wristwork you can strengthen your wrists with gym exercises, weight training or just by picking up the bat at the top of the handle from a standing position and doing reps to pull it towards you while keeping a 90 degree bend in your arm, trying to keep the arm as still as possible. start off small to see what you can do and then build up doing sets to prioritise strength training. 2, These are interesting, you can try to emulate these but id recommend sticking to your natural pull shot and hook shot and trying to perfect them but there is nothing wrong with trying new ones out to see if it works, so have a friend feed you underarms at first to get used to pulling and hooking the ball then progress to overarm throwdowns on a short length, try different lines out too and you'll see which balls to play, duck, weave or leave. 3, Get an opinion from a professional coach, record your batting and send it to them to see what's hindering you, or try to find the faults yourself by again progressing from dropdowns to underarms to throwdowns. 4. You seem to have a plan against that so try to progress it by trying out shots and see what works. 5. For inswingers which are on their way to your pads you can flick or glance them down to the fine leg fence and for outswingers it depends on what your natural game is but of course practice will be your best friend here once more. 6. Plenty of cricket workouts, plyos, routines on TH-cam and the wider internet to try out, think of the muscle groups your looking to target and you can even build a plan yourself. 7. You will have to decide this one, for example if its a good length ball on off, then give it the respect it deserves, block it out and if its outside off make sure you know where your off stump is and let it go through to the keeper until you are comfortable and the ball starts doing less. 8. that's a good one but unfortunately i don't have the necessary experience to help you out here. Good Luck and may you have a good season!
Love all your videos! Could poor back foot stability prevent hitting over the top? Im thinking about adding a ankle weight to my right foot, will this help?
Hey Nathan, yeah it could prevent you from hitting over the top effectively. Uhm not sure, i would probably not look to do that, rather a cone under the foot and try and keep the cone in a single place.
Tq so much sir ........I have made a same mistake in one year .........I wasn't understanding this problem....................... This video is very useful for me....❤... I m always follow your channel & cricket technique.................❤love uh sir ....❤
Sir your batting is just pure class and you know almost every prospects of the game why you're not playing for nation? Please let me know this is humble request 🙏🏻
Hey there, that's normally a bit of a confidence and maybe even slight fear thing as you dont want to actively put your body in the line of the ball. We see it a lot, normally just starting off really slow and progressing from there makes a big difference. Also put a cone upside down under your back foot and make sure the cone doesnt move😅💪
I need to crt my big mistake I have straggle to face the body line ball If the ball pich at leg stick i didn't know how to play that ball if that ball comes as in slot length or gooder length or it can be short ball I can't able to play that one I need to over come that I'm one down player left hand batsman all are saying that is easier but it is very difficult to play please help me how to over come and how to play and what kind of shots I have to play please 🥲🥲🥲

Keep the palm of your bowling hand facing forward towards the batter through the delivery phase, it will be impossible to bowl a googly doing this💪🏻🙌🏻
@@CoachCricXI but i am cocking my wrist that's why I am not able to turn the leg spin from third finger
@@divyankchetwani2423 Hey there, at no point did I mention cocking your wrist, I simply said keep your palm facing forward
