Vintage Keith Urban. He and his talent have continued to evolve into the amazing unique style of current day Keith Urban. As a longtime fan I loved seeing this video posted. It is the song that made me a fan way back.
Keith is the most underrated guitar players of all time. He is unique in his style and I can't get enough! Trying to learn this song note for note, I've been playing guitar for 15 years and his style is not easy to copy lol.
I agree. I have been playing both acoustic and electric for 8 years and have played multiple tough songs from John Mayer to Dream Theater. This guy is an extremely underrated guitarist. See "You'll think of me live" by him or "Don't let me down" with John Mayer. You'll be blown away. His percussion + arpeggio + extremely clean rhythm makes it all so melodious. Not an easy task to do cleanly.

It's crazy that Charlotte and Jane from the Go-Go's wrote this with him in one of those songwriting sessions, where they paired "different" artists together. Apparently Charlotte came up with the title of the song. Keith came up with the guitar "riff" and Jane wrote the amazing lyrics, cuz she's a genius at writing lyrics !

I believe he's from New Zealand. He may be over promoted, but he's not overrated. Check some of his stuff, esp. the Blubird Cafe stuff. Live on stage in a little club and stunning. That's a tough way to hit an audience, and he's spot on perfect. They just canned (YT) a guy for a stage performance of Galveston and Lineman that knocked my socks off. Unless somoene else posts it we'll probably never see that one again.
