Hi there! I'm trying to do the same with the green Mustang set, but I haven't figured out how to make the chassis. It looks like the chassis you have here is from the latest 8 stud cars (which i don't have), but by chance did you make your own chassis? Thank you for the help!
Alot more work than just take these 2 sets apart and put them back together this way. And alot of guess work for certain parts. All in all awesome looking build but I wish it was less flimsy on front and back

use more plate and small single brick to hollowed out your models, that way they will be lighter and you will use less bricks

Ridiculous. You need a lot more than the f40 and the f8.
