What is the main benefit/benefits of the bill drill? How exactly does it help you improve and what does it expose that you might need work on? Never quite understood it. Thanks man! Great content!
Ben Stoeger explains it well. Your goal time should be 2 seconds. It puts scrutiny on your draw speed and creating a solid grip. If it isn't perfect you aren't going to be able to fit all 6 rounds into an A zone under the 2 second time limit.
I see no reason why you would change target focused shooting with iron sights vs red-dot and vice-versa. If you shoot target focused you see the sights blurred in the background no matter the system employed. Ben Stoeger says you control recoil with your eyes and he is absolutely right: focus/project one point on the target and let the dot come back to that automatically.
@@user-kr3zt7fl5z Nobody is arguing about the "easiness" of using the red-dot vs iron-sights, but here is a matter of principle. You either train your eyes and brain for not gettin captured by your aiming system or not. Let's say say I go to an IPSC match with my Shadow 2s and as I switch between production-optics to production should I start lookin at the front sight instead of the target? Red-dots have the big advantage that you can adjust the size and dim the brightness makin them much easier to "look-through" than a fiber optic front sight.
@chefmatt6299 A couple of things. I carry and compete from aiwb and I was having trouble getting a good support hand grip with the semi beavertail on the PDP. I dremmeled the beavertail down as much as I could and it still was a challenge. The other thing was the snappiness of the PDP. I shot the gun fairly well, it just had those two cons that steered me away from it.
Would love a rundown of your pistol configuration and any mods you have made within the carry optics restrictions.
GLOCK IS THE BEST!!!!!

Love to see Glock perfect the MOS plate because not close to perfection.
His gun isn't an oem Glock....😂
Can you share the two belts set up and equipment brands chosen. Thank You. S
When you put away your competition gun, what do you carry for EDC?
what were you splits on the double bill drill
.16
Is there going to be a fifth generation Glock 40 10 mm auto
Maybe listen to your customers and bring us extended mags for the G43x instead of TH-cam videos
Great shooting Shane! Always learning something new from your videos. Thank you 🙏
Great video
Shane is a Phenomenal shooter and a really nice guy too..
Very good! This is in Georgia?
I picked up the 47 today for carry optics. I started with a sig 226 then a G17 and then the PDP and a G45 and now the G47. 😂
Why the shift away from the PDP?
