Nice comparison! Just purchased the Mozart 1 Pro, as the Horizon is 3-4 times more expensive where I live. Contrast ratio looks better on Wanbo and sound quality seems better too. Love that it has Netflix. Patiently for it to be delivered! 😂
I'm thinking about purchasing the Mozart or the DaVinci 1 Pro for my bedroom, the idea is to place it above the bed and project to a blackout curtain because I have a window in front of me. Distance will be 3.2m and my max screen size should be 70 inches. Does the variable zoom works for this?
With a throw ratio of 1.2 given by Mozart and DaVinci and at a distance of 3.2 meters, the projected image size would normally be about 151 inches. To achieve a screen size of 70 inches, you would need to reduce this size by about 54%. However, Mozart and DaVinci offer the ability to reduce the image size by up to 50%. In this case, with a maximum reduction of 50%, you could achieve a screen size of approximately 75.5 inches, which is quite close to your target of 70 inches. Therefore, it would be feasible to get quite close to the desired screen size for your setup.
Given the capabilities of the Mozart, I'd suggest trying it out in your current setup to see how well it projects at the desired size. It should come close to your target of 70 inches with its zoom features. Let us know how it goes!
Thanks for your comment, Macy! You're right that the Wanbo is a single-chip LCD and XGIMI uses DLP technology, which can make direct comparisons tricky. Each has its own strengths depending on what features are most important to the user. I'd love to hear more about your experiences with these projectors!
I haven't noticed any significant latency issues with these projectors for casual gaming. If you're mainly using it with the PS5, the Mozart 1 should suffice, as the Pro version mainly adds Netflix and official Android TV support
Yes, exactly, @tezcankutlu7632! Both the Mozart and Mozart Pro are suitable for gaming. If you're looking for additional features like official Netflix support and licensed Android TV, then the Mozart Pro would be the better choice.
The game mode on the Mozart 1 Pro mainly enhances color settings for gaming. Both the Mozart 1 and 1 Pro have minimal latency, so they’re great for gaming
Thanks for your feedback! It's true that DLP projectors can appear satisfactory on their own. However, single-chip DLP projectors are known for their limitations in black levels and the "rainbow effect," as seen in comparisons. This is due to scattered unused light reflecting as dim gray on the screen during dark scenes. For improved results, dual-chip or higher-priced DLP models may be necessary.
That's true, DLP projectors can produce a rainbow effect due to their color wheel design. Some people are more sensitive to it than others. If you notice it frequently and it bothers you, an LCD projector might be a better choice as they don't have this issue

if you are rich buy xgimi horizon if you are poor buy wanbo mozart 1 simple as that
😅😅😂

@@HXMAGAZINETV Thanks a lot for the answer. Do you have a suggestion for my current setup or should I just try with the Mozart?

Is Bluetooth speaker also supported when playing via HDMI port or only when playing via Android TV?
I haven't tested that specific setup myself, but typically, Bluetooth speakers work with Android TV and may not support audio output via HDMI
Wanbo color saturation?
It has good color saturation
@@HXMAGAZINETV With what color saturation (RGB) settings did you use the wanbo during the test?
I used the default RGB settings for the Wanbo during my tests
This is ridiculous. Wanbo is a single-chip LCD. How can it be compared with XGIMI DLP?

What is the latency of the mozart pro ? And from the davinci pro 1 ? Which do you recommened for.ps5 use ?

Wow my xgimi horizon does not look like that in dark scenes. The blacks on my device are way better.
