Does it resist drooping when extended out fully? I'd hate to spend the money and have it all floppy and not support itself. Do you normally stick it to the lift vertical, or mount it to a strut tower or similar?

Yes the joints are all very stiff. I mount mine to the lift upside down

Could it completely replace the 12 volt version? Looking at the two versions. Just concerned with the size.
