    I am thoroughly enjoying your videos. They are very clear and chocked full of tips. For instance in this one besides learning by seeing the different embossing powders in action I learned why there was a white portion on the paper beads I used a sparkle embossing powder on........I couldn't figure it out but now i know it's glue! Also curious where can i find the final video you did comparing your glazing techniques.?? I have looked but couldn't find it.

    Which color ink are you using on the bead prior to embossing? How do you choose? Thanks!

      Usually I just use paper. If the embossing powder is solid, it doesn't matter what color is underneath.

    to get ride of the paper ridges coat the bead in more powder will make the bead look more like a glass bead. like Josie Gitto babywipe beads .

      What embossing powder do you use? When I've done more coats in the past, it ends up cracking after I've worn it for awhile.

      ranger brand ultra thick embossing powder (clear) and i use a butane torch to melt the powder . i use a medal knitting needle to hold the bead does not stick to bead like wooden ones.

      I've been using a similar technique for several years, with the Ranger UTEE and metal knitting needles. For beads made of patterned paper, I just use a couple of layers of UTEE. With plain beads I layer in other colors of embossing powder, alcohol inks, glitters, mica powders, and fantasy films. Whatever comes to mind. The beads are amazing. I'm looking forward to trying some of Seth Apter's Baked Texture embossing powders as soon as they arrive.

    I would love to see you mix a little of every colour together then sprinkle on one bead :)

    How do you get that shape of bead please?

    • @ChellejonPaperBeadRollers
      @ChellejonPaperBeadRollers  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm sorry but I can't remember exact how I made these! It looks like they might be 3/4 inch wide to a point and I probably used at least 6 magazine page strips. That's just a guess though!

    Could t you wipe the bead with a baby wipe to get rid of the extra glue?

    • @ChellejonPaperBeadRollers
      @ChellejonPaperBeadRollers  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes! I do that quite a bit now. Sometimes it can damage the paper but it usually works.
