Thank you Rob, It has been rough not having Bumble Bee to fly. I have been staying busy doing fun things this summer. I used Doug K. cub to spend some time in Idaho with my daughter floating rivers with our Alpacka Rafts.
@@mauleguy Sounds like good times. My cousin lives in Bend so I get to hear about the beautiful scenery and weather in the general area. She just went paddle boarding. I’d love to visit some day. It’s hard for me to get away more than 2 or 3 days at a time being caregiver to my Mom. Take care!
That plane is nuts. 200hp..🤣. What a great experience that must be up front. Like hanging in a paraglider. Very nice video and kudos to Doug for building such a clean plane. Nice to see you back in the saddle Greg.
I used to have one... still miss it. How is the crosswind handling on pavement with the big wheels? Some planes have issues with that... And as for getting rides, even from the back seat, it's the all time favorite of passengers.
I got to fly one from the front seat a few years ago. Totally unique experience (but I've never flown a Breezy). $200K seems like a lot but you can get it back when you sell it, right? That's what I've been telling my wife all these years...
Fuselage is covered but not painted, new right wing and aileron are built but not covered (next on the list to cover), boot cowl built and windshield fitted. Getting there.
Greg I watched a video a while back and subbed (but it didn't stick I guess) but you visited your Dad and he was building a cabin How is he ?? and did he finish his Cabin ?? hope you reply Happy New Year
@@mauleguy Fantastic wish him Happy new year for me and I hope you do a video of a visit He's an inspiration to us all at his age Thanks so much for the update
So good to hear from you Greg! Good to see you flying even if not in Bumble Bee yet! I hope you are well brother!! 🤠👍

Glad to see you take a small break from building to post another outstanding video! Thank you.

Love the aircraft and the video - thanks! It's like an improved RLU-1 Breezy =)
Great to see another video from you. Any build videos coming soon?
Probably a while before I get back to that on the 4 place cub. I hope to have the rebuild done early 2023. Then I will shift focus back to 4 place cub
hey Greg it Great to see and hear you in another video ! cheers from Canada.
!!!!! Been waiting for this!
More videos coming? Some of the best on youtube
Hope your doing good! Look forward to hopefully more vids soon.
If you don't mind, can you please tell me if there is another video of a similar plane?
I miss your videos! I would like to see the new Cub please!
Enjoyed your video thank you!

Never seen one before. Interesting
Greg great to see a video from you man. The Air cam's are very cool, but I'd still rather have a Cub. How is yours coming?

Happy New Year, My dad and his cabin are great. The cabin is pretty much done. This Spring we will finish up solar and that should be about it.

Any chance on a update please?
How's the rebuild going?
Hey Greg, I just bought an m7 maule with the 0-360 c4F. Fixed pitch prop. Just curious, what prop did you run on the original bushwhacker?
1P235 8443 (84")first and then later on I used a 1A200FA 9033 (90") Neither of these would be legal on a Maule without a field approval.
@@mauleguy that’s a Mccauly right? I’ll give them a jingle. Thanks!
Just like flying a Breezy!
It’s like a flying canoe.
So a Canoe on wings. lol
Didn’t know you wrecked your plane.
$199,000?!?! 😵
Look at them on the for sale sites, they go for a lot more than that price.
@@craigsanders6925 - I see that. That’s crazy.

Well, it does have 2 $35k motors.
