Never played the original Link's Awakening, but was absolutely hooked on the Switch version. 1st Zelda game I was able to beat (thankfully not the last).
I already have most of these. I added CrossCode and Creaks to my wishlist, but Blue Fire was already on it. I already have Link's Awakening, Katana Zero, Oxenfree, Hob, Road 96, Shovel Knight Treasure Trove and Shovel Knight Dig (Dig was the one actually shown in this video). Good list. If you like these I would also suggest Axiom Verge, Blasphemous, Celeste, Dead Cells, Foregone, Enter the Gungeon, Greak, Gunbrella, Hades, Hollow Knight, Inmost, Limbo, Mr. Shifty, Neon Abyss, Steamworld Dig (series), The Messenger, Timespinner, Tiny Thor.
My Hidden 5 Aegis Defenders: strategic defense couch co-op reminiscent of Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind and Avatar: the Last Airbender Shinobi non Grata: smooth ninja action; consider enemy patterns and weak points Gleylancer: spaceship shmup with a slight plot, snazzy music, and rewind and save options Gotta Protectors: Cart of Darkness: couch co-op strategy, parody of 8-bit RPGs Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World: Kirby + Zelda 2 = cute platformer action adventure My not-so-Hidden 2 Anything by Vanillaware: GrimGrimoire, 13 Sentinels, Unicorn Overlord, ... Okami: the Switch port lets you draw on the touch screen or motion control on the TV.
Katana zero was great, im playing eastern exorcist (good so far) but crosscode... i would have preferred not to have bought it. That's the problem with ppl reviewing that game, they always skimp how annoying the puzzles are. It will either make ppl love the game or hate it(if they don't want to solve dozen puzzles in a row) like goddamn, the dungeons are boring, i gave up on that game after the dual dungeon (2 in 1 dungeon) and the story is bad, they give you scrubs of it. *minor spoilers ahead* The story is divided into 2 sections. The fake gameworld story, you are playing an mmo in that game, so the npcs have a story why you have to go do quest. You play with the party and interact with the world. Now the real interesting story is that you are not human and have been teleported to this world(which turns out to be real) to search for someone or something and they skimp on this so hard.... 🤬🤬 Like c'mon, you get like bits and pieces of this great story and the game throws you back to the fake game world story with emily yapping about bridges all day(i don't care!!!)
If you enjoyed the video please subscribe so you can see amazing LISTS in the future❤️
Everyone knows Zelda it shouldn’t be in the list.
Crosscode is a master class game-and criminally unrecognized. I’m glad to see it get recommended here.
The Messenger. In my top 10 games of all time. A true gem.
Katana Zero is sooo good!!!

Crosscode was awesome. I did feel dumb when working some of the puzzles though. They were hard!
Only one game (Eastern Exorcist) was new to me. Everything else I already own.
Octopath Traveler 2
Crosscode is A GOOD GAME.

Didn’t know about Eastern Exorcist. Thanks!
the shovelknight part is showing video of shovelnight dig, not the original that treasure trove is :) (very different games)
Blue Fire is really good - runs well on Switch
What game is pictured in the thumbnail? 🤷🏾♂️

Damn clickbait, have my dislike.
Real shit, the thumbnail looks like a great game 😢
These are literally all indie games on Steam minus the Zelda game lol
I bought Oxenfree but haven’t played it yet 😅
And shiren the wanderer mystery dungeon best hidden gem on switch
Thanks
Eastern exorcist is a short game. About 5 to 8hrs
man, HOB looks like TUNIC
Dunno about switch versions performance. But F.I.S.T Forged in Shadow Torch is a pretty good metroidvania.
A journey to a savage planet

Are some of these games on ps5
dont think so, maybe blue fire or shovel knight? the ps5 usually doesnt have these type of games
All of them except Zelda, for obvious reasons.
Do I hear a French Canadian accent?
Physical release please, especially that Katana Zero game.🥷🏿
