    Ya know what Billy I'm a wool who lived in Liverpool for 6 years I'm a window cleaner by trade. I have rounds in Formby Birkdale freshfield and further away Bawtry which is a very upmarket area in South Yorkshire and i also have a round on the estate off Westminster rd in Walton and on my kids lives by far the best payers on my round out of the millionaires and allegedly middle class or whatever they like to think they are is that council estate of wezzy Road every single one of those people pay me anx i clean millionaires who don't pay me for a year and then dispute what they owe.. all that glitters is not gold and as i know you don't judge a book by it's cover people. Me and my son have never been as appreciated and paid anywhere as we have on that estate so a massive respect to them all❤

      It's the fact that I believe Billy does have empathy and genuine distress, on some level, at seeing ppls plight and hearing their stories that keeps me watching. I see a lot of stuff I have lived with and know it's the same for Bill. I respect his efforts at highlighting the troubles in our midst in the hope of helping and maybe trying to change society's disregard of the suffering, lost, forgotten and and unloved, surviving each day however they can.

      Grew up in Nogsy which wasn't that bad then. Broadway was just shopping and the indoor market, which was next to Tesco's then. Leo's got built. Drugs are what changed these areas imo. No work, no hope start with the dope. Until we have a sensible and pragmatic drugs policy the slide will continue. Most drugs can be managed differently but coke, crack etc.... they're the issues because they result in chaos. Mad seeing broady again. Keep it up Billy. Your an example of success

    Excellent Vlog, am originally from Everton Road and then my mum moved to the Henglers Estate back in mid 80s when me and my sister were in our mid teens. Lucky for us we had a fantastic mum that made us go to school/uni and get an education. I have to admit I had a fantastic time in the 80s early 90s in that area also none of my friends or me took drugs. am not saying there was no drugs in our area cause there was and a high use of it but we seemed to stay away from it thank god. My sister lives out of town near Birchwood and me Cressington/Grassendale area of Liverpool now. I have had to drive through that area of late and am so grateful for my mum being so strict with us cause I have seen lads and girls I knew and same age am 55 but they look like they are in there 80s cause of the drug use and lack of help. Great to see what you are doing keep up the great work 👍👍👍

    In my days in Liverpool, which was in the mid 70s, the roughest and most dangerous places were around the Toxteth area, Liverpool 8, and Princes Road. You did not want to be around these places especially after dark. Liverpool at the time was rated as the most violent city in the UK next only to Glasgow. I do not know if the reconstruction and all the development that happened since in the city have changed things.

    In the 1960's and 70's I was brought up in Garston and lived a very rough and tough childhood, Because we did not have much. We did not steal or shit on our own doorstep and dump rubbish on our streets. A lot of people left because of the acceptance of failing. That is why I left and got a job away from my beloved city. I am sorry that people seem to think that being tough is accepting defeat from their childhood home. Just look at it now. Everything there now seems to be imported and accepted. So ,So sad.

    My Mum and Grandparents lived on Eton Street number 77..I was practically brought up round them streets mate..Dad lived in Hayfield Street Anfield opposite the King Harry pub..there wasn't much drugs knocking round in the 70s like there is now but you still had to have your eyes wide open..there was still WW2 bomb sites round there and County Road as quite a busy shopping area..great little video even though it saddened me.

    Seeing that bloke upset has reminded me of a old boy in our village just lost his wife I'm rarely lost for words wtf do you say 55 years poor bustards lost. I don't care how long people have been on drugs NEVER EVER GIVE UP i didn't and if I can do it anyone can I was a bad junkie no other name for it really bad. Thank fuck those days are behind me. It breaks my heart knowing what people are going through. I've very recently found out who I really am, I'm as soft as shit under the bs I get really emotional now and hate it, I shouldn't it's who I am. Funny how drugs warp your mind the shit i used to believe its embarrassing thinking about it had a good conversation with my family about it, I'm getting soppy now, it breaks my heart how much I fucked up what a waste. Still can't go back. Onwards. That's the only advice I can give i was quitting tomorrow every single day, I think it's the key don't give in to the shit.

    We have a mirror image in Dublin. It's the same in every city and town. Since the crack started it's been madness on the street's, we taught the gear was bad, it's a shadow compared to this crack. ✌🏻☘️

    Best wishes and prayers to the homie Jack.. I lived in Fazakerley for about four months back in about 2003 or 2004 when I got released from HMP Woolton and I used to walk around the city going to the retail parks and city centre shops because I was a good shoplifter back then and then I used to go and sell all the gear in either Kirkby.. Toxteth or Annfield.. Im a Brummy and loved it in my short time In Liverpool.. Never had any issues or problems.. YNWA 💚 ❤ Im a 20 year plus heroin addict myself and I could see that familiar pain in Jack's eyes and I often wonder how I will cope myself when my parents go as they are my world just as Jack said.. Respect to Bill for doing his thing and still having respect and kindness for the addicts who are still struggling unlike some on this platform always just shouting "smack head this and crackhead that" which don't help nobody.. Drugs have destroyed so many of our inner cities.. Birmingham where I'm from is literally smack city and I know Liverpool is much the same.

      @@gary1642 Woolton or Walton Im not from there so didn't know the spelling difference and it was nearly 20 years ago.. Your not going to catch me out matey because we were on a lockout from our local jail Winson Green and there was two buses going from Birmingham magistrates.. One was going to walton(is that spelling ok?) and the other to Strange ways.. I got the Walton bus and was there for another five months and then landed up in a big probation hostel on a main road in Fazakerley.. Why would I lie about it.. I'm not proud of it 😂

    • @gary1642
      @gary1642 ปีที่แล้ว

      @ponyboycurtis3795 did I accuse you of lying? Walton or Woolton isn't a spelling mistake, it's geography. Woolton is one of the best parts of Liverpool, Walton ( I know because I lived by the flyover L4 not L9 for a few years) is a shit hole. Touchy aren't we?
