Same program, Camtasia Studio 8! Its called "callouts" at 03:21, just pick the red drawing arrow in the callout section
Yes, if I understand you correctly. Camtasia could not remove the background of an image, like the white area.

You would have to do that completely separately with like photoshop or GIMP, then import the image.

I have a question... How can you take 2 clips that are on the same track and combine them? I find that without doing that, and having multiple seperate clips makes for an EXTREMELY glitchy video. Thanks.
I think you should customize some settings on the properties I'm not sure but that's what I usually do.

Did u buy this or downloaded it, If you downloaded it, then does the effects still work after the day it expires?
If you get the trial version when it's out, go to windows firewall (the advanced security on vista or win7) add a new rule, select camtasia 8, and block it's access to the internet. It will be stuck on 30 days and you can use it forever!
at 4:14 and 4:25.... how did you do those freehand arrows? im trying to create video where i telestrate football practices and havent bern able to figure out how to freehand draw on video. thanks
Quick question. Is there any way to play multiple videos at once in Camtasia Studio 8 or do I need Sony Vegas Pro?

Hello sir recently I uninstall audio device and reinstall to fix sound then when I tried to open "camtasia recorder" the message keeps pop up said "No audio device is being detected." what does that mean? I can still hear sound when I record but this message keep showing! How do I remove this sir?

is it me or it records the text ( shortcut names, web text etc.) at very bad quality, its almost unreadable and its grainy. Or this is just in the preview panel ?

Its most likely your computer is not powerful enough. To run resource-draining video games while recording at the same time, requires a lot of CPU & GPU power, even my desktop would lag doing that. You could try going into the Camtasia recorder settings & uncheck everything you dont need. Like"record keybaord input" & "mouse input", **layered windows**

It is a fact that Camtesia is crashing. I have 4 processors, and still it crashed twice in 20 min. trial. However, I will purchase Camtesia today. Why? I love it!
I dont think Vegas does screen recording, they're totally different styles of video editors.

Yap, Utorrent is a great program to download and share files LEGALLY, I use it legitimately all the time. It has a bad wrap & misconstrued view of automatically being associated with illegal activity, (which it is a lot) but not always.

What settings on codec recorder?
Hi I record computer screen and video edit but the quality is bad. I export mp4 and edit with Premiere pro. Once I make mp4 it doesn't look clear. I use best quality setting but it doesn't help
you should set the sequence to 1080p and render everything out until they all turn to green and play it back then export it, check my channel videos, i edited my videos with premiere pro
Then turn down the game audio instead. Also, if you highlight your voice audio, Then go to the audio tab button, and click the "Volume up" button, it will overwrite and allow you to increase it even more than it will manually by pulling the audio line up with your mouse. That technique only allows up to 500%, doing it with the "Volume up" button will go past 500%.
Oh, Well I just used the presets shown in the video at the end when I go through the rendering process. Its .MOV format, and 1920X1080. I also record my videos on a 19020X1080 monitor of course. I checked the file it was actually 200MB, but I guess that's close enough. Those down-loaders reduce the quality.
I use camtasia studio to edit screen recordings (recording my computer screen) & to edit video files from my regular video camera. And yes you can do all of the text adding and video editing with camtasia studio, you dont need windows movie maker. Everything you need to edit and do would be within camtasia.
Well, Sony Vegas is not comparable to be honest. its a MUCH more advance editing software. This is geared more towards Screen recordings, and also beginning video editing.
240FPS???!!??? -Definitely not, unless you have a server rack or something. You could increase it to maybe 60 or 80. Beyond that, not sure what's the need?
No. That is purely based on your computer's specs. So for most average computers, it will. Video editing takes a HUGE amount of CPU & GPU power.

Yes, if your computer screen is 1080p, it can record it at 1080p. But you need to have a full HD screen, otherwise it wont actually be 1080p
um, no idea to be honest. I just searched google images for wallpapers. Try "Chameleon wallpaper" and make it "large" images only in the search
its probably your graphics cards, recording while gaming usually requires a very powerful pc. Unless there is some glitch im not aware of

They're not really comparable, Camtasia is meant for screencasts, Sony Vegas is much more advanced regular video editing.
Just uncheck the audio recording box, or turn off your mic. Its all in the settings of the camtasia recorder
