Hey thanks so much for the vid it was exactly what I needed to know. I have already purchased a ktm85 2020 17” / 14” and was wondering if the frame is any different to the 19” / 16”. I am slightly to tall for the bike and would like to know if I can simply just but bigger wheels for it. Thanks again, I appreciate the help.

I'm tossing up between a klx140 and sx85. Used to ride a ktm500 but had a back injury at work and can't wrangle a 500 any more, need small and light.
Get the 85sx, definitely lighter than the klx 140
Sx85 is a nice bike but i would choose kx85 as im a team green

So I’m 5’5 about 120lbs and I’m 14 and I’ve never had a dirtbike and I wanted to try it out would the ktm85 big wheel be a good choice for me or if not do you have any suggestions
Hi, we would suggest doing a search for dirt bike schools in your area and enroll in a class. It's the best way to properly and safely learn the fundamentals. They provide bikes so you will be able to get an idea s to what bike would be suitable for you. Thanks for watching.

Would this be any good as a road legal bike to whip around on in the UK or to go on the occasional off beaten track? I’m 28 slimish/medium build weighing about 13/14 stone and looking into getting the big wheeled version just for the sh*%’s and giggles
Hello, it's not designed for street use--additionally we do not know the legalities of turning a dirt bike into a street legal road bike in the UK.

Hello, it would really depend on your inseam. Everyone is built differently. If you can get to a dealership that has both bikes on hand then sit on both of them and see which feels better. Thanks for watching.

KJA 65 an in the uk this has been happening for years how do Americans not know about this in the uk there 2 classes in races 85 small wheel and 85 big wheel I have a 2018 husky and I bought it with big wheels And put on small wheels until I grew enough

Hello, depending on their riding ability, experience and then physical stature, the 17/14 version could be good but then they may grow out of it pretty quick. The 19/16 may be a better option, but then again it would depend on the child's riding experience, ability, and stature.

Im 12 and im 4 foot 7 and i have a 2016 ktm 85 sx small wheel and its just a bit big it be perfect if i was 4 foot 9

Can this bike be used by an adult just to kick around some trails?
I think so. Especially the 19"-16" model. The proper fit based Weight limit is probably around 190-200 lbs. I'm only 170 lbs,so I'd feel confident that it'd carry me quite well.
Yeah a lighter weight adult could ride this bike. It's not ideal and you may have to address the suspension to get it to suit your weight, but for just cruising trails it could be done. Thanks for watching.
