8yrs ago I had 7 yrs sobriety and I threw the life I had built away. Within 6 months I was living in Baltimore. Year 2 I got pregnant and lost my son. July 5, 2017 was the step I ever took, I lost my leg due to my addiction. I couldn't see past my wheelchair for years. I thought I was nothing and I threw myself in the gutter. I thought I was nothing more than a piece of trash. Even in complete darkness I followed God, blind to what I was and could be. On May 28th I finally saw the light and I took my first breath as a sober individual. 5 years ago I was knocking on deaths door and my heart was cold, dark; there was an endless pit. The devil was guiding me down a path that would ultimately lead to death. I felt a tap on my shoulder and I turned around and even though I couldn't walk I ran to Jesus. You have no idea how relevant this song was to my life. My God please take this pain and fill my heart with love! I give you my life and will follow with faith and belief. Thank you lord for never giving up on me.

@@patricialoyd8657 I love how the internet can spread so much hate and negative emotions and context but like the sun shining through on a cloudy day love ❤️ finds those that are in need. Whether you are the giver or the receiver God uses our faith, strength, and compassion to help others no matter their beliefs, race, or any other thing people use to divide us. God loves all of us the same no matter how we see ourselves or others, and whether you ask or not he will help us, guide us, and love us. It seems to me that we should love our differences, but search for what we have in common to avoid repeating the past so our future is for the common good. I may be wrong I am only one voice. But I wanted to thank you in the best way I could. I was really having a bad day and I thought that I was going to relapse today cause it's been hard. Especially a stranger has a message to take heed, we are all God's vessels when he needs us to be. God bless and thank you my sister!

@@VCurtis7 Yes ma'am! People say God is good but he's more than good he's great he loves unconditionally even when we don't. There have been many times I've been off the path of righteousness, yet he walked with me when I was hopeless going down a path that would only lead me to a literal dead-end. One day I feel to my knees because I was lost not only to the people around me, but to myself. I had to fight and dig myself out of that dark place but God always left a light on and once I made the decision to live by his will he shined that light so bright that even a blind man could make his way back to that path. Thank you so very much for the support and prayers 🙏 ! It's beautiful to find an online community that is based soully on love, prayer, support no matter how we have gotten to this place. So many feel lost and alone and afraid that they will be rejected. And I say to them if that community rejects them that they aren't worthy of your light and subsequently are not walking down God's unconditional path that is blind to judgments we make. I can't thank you enough for this today, I have had some hurdles lately and needed this to help me push on. I will be praying for you as well....God bless!
