That green Asics is using across their incoming line is absolutely gorgeous. Loved the 25 and didn't dislike the 26. Looking forward to getting these on feet!
I love the Gel-Cumulus 26 , but it is not as wide as the Gel-Nimbus 26 or the Nova Blast 4 ! I would say that the current Gel-Cumulus is the shoes from Asics that is similar to the snug fit from those Puma shoes : Velocity and Deviate. Not everyone can use those without a wide option.
what an upgrade. First the novablast cancelled the woven upper, now the Nimbus cancelled the knit upper. I guess I will back up the 26 when they are on sale
Have the 25 and loved it, have the 26 and caused pain in heal. Never once used the huge pull tab at the rear and to state this is a huge update is very misleading, it’s incremental at best just money making with minor tweaks from another shoe manufacturer that thinks it will keep churning out updates to fleece its fans with crazy prices, would love to know what it actually costs to make a pair of these shoes in what I expect incredibly low paid work force in China or similar.
Labor costs in China have seen a significant increase in recent years. This trend has prompted many companies, such as ASICS, Mizuno, and NB, to relocate their factories to Vietnam in order to reduce production expenses. The production cost of these running shoes is less than US$10, whereas renowned brands typically sell them at prices 20 times higher than the production cost. Conversely, well-established Chinese brands like Li-Ning, Anta, Xtep, 361, Qiaodan, Bmai, and Peak are offering high-quality daily trainers and maximum cushion running shoes for less than US$50. It's important not to be misled by their lower prices. Chinese brands have made substantial investments in research and development, resulting in midsoles and outsoles that rival those of global brands. The quality of their shoes has markedly improved in recent years. These brands prioritize competitive pricing and high sales volume over costly global marketing campaigns. As a consequence of fierce competition, ASICS, Mizuno, NB, and Nike typically offer significant discounts in China, with discounts of up to 50% during major sales events. By utilizing certain coupons, you can purchase a New Balance 1080 V13 or Mizuno Sky Wave 8 for approximately US$50 from their official websites. It's worth noting how remarkably profitable these brands are, considering they can still make a profit even when selling their products at a retail price of $50.
I don't understand the need to launch a new model every 18 months I still have the 25 and I love them and have a new pair of 26's that I haven't even used
Call me crazy, but I don’t really like the stretchy tongue. Not enough padding. Seems odd not to put the more comfortable option on what’s supposed to be the most comfortable shoe.
I tried like a aqua dark green pair on at dicks and I loved it so much I was there to get either on cloud or hoka but I really felt like I liked it better than either but I found a pair of hoka on sale for 103$ so I choose them for that reason but I am hoping my next shoe to be one these shoes
I am really dissapointed with nimbus 25 & 26 because of 1 huge flaw. The upper material was easily torn. Nimbus 26 was the worst . Despite loving the fit and comfort , i probably skip nimbus line up due to that.
I can't quite understand why ASICS doesn't bother having their product designers introduce the new shoes and talk about the changes to the product and the materials used. We're all shoe geeks here, talk nerdy to us!
They simply added an extra millimeter of stack to the Nimbus 26 and called it a new shoe. Same foam, same outsole, very similar design to the last version. What else could you expect?
@@A_SEGA_Dremcast Asics clearly isn't stupid; they understand how to generate profit. The FF BLAST Plus Eco foam deteriorates rapidly. While the foam feels excellent when the shoes are new, after a few hundred kilometers, it completely loses its energy return. Their aim is to encourage people to purchase a new pair of shoes every month.
"Huge update" lol
😂😂👍

goes hard for sure
Can't wait to see others colors, currently on the Cumulus 26 in Wide !
Wide guys ! For larger foot like me, the best comfort. Asics for life

feels like they're coming out twice a year
So in terms softness: 25>27>26?
Dear Santa, please ignore my letter with Nimbus 26....
😂
Il skip this iteration and wait for the 28. Hopefully, they bring the on the max foam and bring back the knit upper.
what an upgrade. First the novablast cancelled the woven upper, now the Nimbus cancelled the knit upper. I guess I will back up the 26 when they are on sale
Got the 25 - it was too mushy/soft for me since I prefer my shoes on the firm side....
Same. Had to retire my 26s to just walking shoes. Too mush at running forces.
This is a good video. Eg the script that the guy read from the company is a lot better. Did not use this shoe because it seemed too heavy for me.

Spring 25 how much ? I liked the nimbus 26
Nice 👍🏿

my next shoe purchase should be the Vomero 18 unless anything come out better.
Brooks glycerin 22 with that new dna tuned might take the cake.
Different shoes.
They should have upgraded the tongue with some plush padding.

Glideride max > Nimbus
lol nimbus favourite shoe of all time.............

HELLO REESA ❤😍😍
Like to Risa and Connor. ¡¡¡¡¡Sound mind, sound body!!!!!. Have a good day.
new versions coming too fast.
This feels like a miss hopefully the nimbus lite this year is good.

So disappointed, no FF Blast Max. 🤬
Why are Asics still using this outdated foam when there is a much better alternative available?
Does Asics know how to make shoes? Are they stupid?
100%

Exactly smh
Can’t believe the NOVABLAST 5 will get it and it’ll be cheaper
I’ll pass on the 27 and get the NB 5
@@iCuteJP How many of these shoes have you worn out?
