There's a bit more symbolism than that. For example, Grimjow's disregard for his comrades or Aizen leads him ripping both Las Noches and Karakura Town apart in search of a fun fight. He absent-mindedly destroys buildings and people alike, because surviving and coming out on top are all that matter.
Nnoitora's despair can also apply to the weight he imposes on his enemies. He gives no mercy, he strives to give no opportunity to fight back. Once Nnoitora entered the battlefield a feeling of hopelessness permeated the battlefield until Nel regained her strength. At the point, the despair was flipped back on Nnoitora, as all his clawing into a powerful position was rendered useless by the difference in ability. Even his specialty in defense plays into his despair, as his opponents have no hope unless they can break through his skin.

The espadas all had genuine symbolism to their aspect, but it wasn't even remotely focused on. It's clear that Kubo didn't really care that much about the lore about what the espadas represent, considering it was thrown in near the end of the arc with barely any elaboration.
I confess that If I was trying to analyze Zommari and Szayallaporo then I genuinely would be grasping at straws. Still, the scenarios in which each espada is fought and the nature of their downfalls all do have symbolism.
Espada are ranked by reiatsu amount , yami in calm and sealed state dosent have enough to be espada but when enraged in resurrection form he has more then any other , he is basically the hulk of bleach , the more pissed the more reiatsu , but since he is as dumb as a rock , no speed no other skills , nothing , he isnt the strongest if it comes to battle power/effectiveness. It gives him raw strength and resilience but thats it , the top 5 espada easily can kill yami .Ulqiorra dosent have as much reiatsu as others but he is a bit different then other espada , his is more refined/concentrated/effective .

@@MrOssyan I agree even Nnoitora could beat Yami. He was almost on Kenpachi's level, and Kenpachi didn't even break a sweat against Yami, but he did against Nnoitora. Yes Byakuya was there too, but doubt he was needed. Nnoitora would just slice and dice Yami like Kenpachi did, and kill him off screen like Kenpachi and Byakuya. And Harribel also has raw power too. And the scale of it. So she'd easily beat Yami.
In pure power Yammy is the strongest from what the databook said but Ulquiorra is most likely a close second since it was also said in the databook that Ulquiorra is the only Espada strong enough for Yammy to not think of as trash and that is exactly why he always follow Ulquiorra
I absolutely love when an organization's members represent different aspects in humanity's philosophy. Espada - aspects of death, the seven deadly sins in SDS and FMAB, ten commandments in SDS, zodiac signs, Noah in D.Gray-man, four natural disasters in Jujutsu Kaisen
Reign over the frosted heavens Hyorinmaru..... Probably the best Shikai release in the show. I love HItsugaya so much, cool character design and powers, a great voice actor and all in all guy who just keeps coming back.

There a lot of opinions about power rank in Espada, most of them relevant. But maybe Yammi got zero because he could keep going. And for Ulquiorra, I'm not confident that he could skip 3 ranks just with a second release. But he was able to show off more them the others when it comes to blow up things. Although I don't find it enough to comprehend one's power
A lot of those opinions are based solely on the fact of who their favorite character is. It's as simple as they are wanking their favorite characters cause they want their favorite characters to be the strongest and are directly ignoring the fact that Kubo ranked these characters himself
@@Cy4nMod And you're ignoring the fact that Kubo throws things in for the wow factor, and then goes back to try to explain why. A lot of Bleach feels like It wasn't planned ahead of time. If it was then its just meh writing, but I doubt it. Felt like Kubo was winging it here and there without thinking too much ahead. Especially in the beginning of Bleach.

Honestly it bugs me that yammy got zero because its super misleading for alot of people when they first see it myself included. You made some excellent points about him firing a cero under the canopy after release. Think this is a rare moment in bleach where the ball was dropped.

Well…It’s gran Rey cero that’s forbidden. Still yammy is kind of a weird case for the numbering. I think he just has the highest raw spiritual pressure. And his number before he releases is technically 10, so I guess it’s allowed. Maybe if he had a second release after that when he turned to zero than it would destroy las noches, but who knows. Most fans don’t consider him the strongest. The other Espada are definitely cooler than him and have much better fights and feats. I guess Yammy does have some impressive durability, if he’s actually using all that spiritual pressure, but he’s kind of a moron, hence why even ichigo cut off one of his armsearly on, because yammy wasn’t even hardening his hiero. Numbers in general kind of got thrown out of whack before we even get to the top 3, since Ulquiorra kind of messes with the whole numbering process. he has the whole second release. Many consider him the strongest. Probably also why aizen left him there for ichigo to fight instead of the other 3. He would be best for his development strength wise. For all the issues with the arrancars power scaling, I still love this arc. Honestly I love every bleach arc. Even the last one with the rushed 2nd half.

Yammy may has the most spiritual pressure but he is kinda dumb and slow so I think the top 2 espada can beat him. That is the thing about espada ranking, it is mostly based on reatsu not actually battle capabilities

Whenever a reactor gets to the 0 Espada twist, the comments go wild about how the Espada rankings only measure reiastu level and not skill level. To this day, one of the biggest arguments in the Bleach fandom is which Espada was actually the strongest. Yami might have the strongest raw power, but he keeps fumbling against anyone who doesn't immediately fold against him.
Regardless if Yami is actually deserving of his title or not, I'm just going to say the the plot twist flops. Yami's constant clumsiness and seeming disinterest in Sonido don't carry the weight that the reveal should've had. After the massive shock that Ulqiorra's number reveal had, the number 0 had a lot to live up to, but Yami just goes from a big blob to and even bigger blob.
I dunno if this is a spoiler, but I think in Bleach Brave Souls, Nelliel's aspect of death is lamentation. While Luppi's is destruction, same as Grimmjow.

Ulquiorra cut the ceiling … so yammy using cero in las notches was okay … imagine a TV dinner in microwave with no slit in plastic, vs if you cut a hole in the plastic… there was room for yammy energy to escape due to the slit in ceiling
Yammy is a glass cannon. He have the most spiritual and physical power but isn't smart enough to use his power to its full capabilities or tactically
22:35 basically, Aizen is undoubtedly leagues above anyone else. Those Espada numbers are in order of spiritual pressure output, not combat ability. I don't think you can make an argument that Ulquiorra is the strongest Espada simply because he has a 2nd ressurection. That being said, I still think Vasto Lorde Ichigo(full hollow) beats every Espada. The strongest Espada is probably Starrk.
The cero thing and form release for espada under 4 is supposed to threaten las noches, as in, it CAN destroy it, but it won’t necessarily do so. Think of it as how a kamehameha could destroy the earth but it doesn’t destroy it everytime it is used

You can’t use a ‘gran ray cero’ in Las Noches if you are espada 1-4.
it’s important to distinguish between reishi, reiryoku, and reatsu.
Reishi is amount of water( spirit energy)
Reiryouku is your tank( full potential )
as well as your type of hose( techniques)
Reatsu is the tank faucet (control) as wall as pressure from your water hose(power).
Yammy unlimited upgrades to his tank but everytime he gets bigger, the water remains the same and his hose is from the dollar store and his faucet is full blast, so his techniques suck.
Someone like Ulq has a mid sized tank, with a good control of his faucet and hose that allows for good technique and pressure.
Someone like stark has a large full tank with an open lid and rainwater keeps pouring in. He’s too lazy to care about his faucet but he has a good hose. But he has no purpose, so he’s wasted water. However his tank is always full so his pressure is

Hah, superb.🤗 Hardly fair since she had another fight and Kyoraku and Ukitake fight just one espada together that's about as powerful as Barragan, I'd say. But for me Barragan is 2nd only to Ulquiorra. That's to say nearly impossible fight for Soi Fon, who isn't the strongest captain.

Since Neel pretty much finished Bleach, I can comment. I didn't much care for the Yammi zero thing. He never felt strongest to me, even just by spiritual pressure power. Starrk were disintegrating hollows with their spiritual pressure just by existing, and in their split form. Like Yami might have the most spiritual pressure but not the strongest spiritual pressure. And we know hes not suppressing it or anything, he's not the type. And the reason I didn't like it is, even if the rankings were based on amount of spiritual pressure not strength of it, this whole thing kind of undercuts Ulquiorra, Starrk, Barragn, Harribel, and the whole ranking system. Since we're lead to believe they're ranked based on their actual overall power. As in both power, combat prowess and abilities combined. Harribel being a good example of being placed 3rd for her power, and Barragan being a good example of being ranked 2nd likely based on just how OP his ability is. Also Yami was defeated by two, sure strong, but not strongest captains, and it didn't look like they broke a sweat. While 4 captains struggled against Starrk, who didn't even go all out. That's why I always felt like Yami was just a cheap attempt at another quick "wow" moment with the espada zero reveal. Just throwing it in there for that. The fight wasn't even animated. Like the author was like, aite we did the wow, now fuck Yami hes boring anyway, we're just gonna end the fight off screen, let you fill in the blanks, and say he was strongest by spiritual pressure or something. This is just my opinion on it, no need to start a comment war btw.

@@c3p6 Any Espada can in their Resurrección, I presume. On the wiki it says Yammi charged a black one at Ichigo (which must be Cero Oscuras then), in the manga at least. It's in one of the next episodes, but I'm pretty sure in the anime it's red.
