17:08 You'd be surprised. I've seen SO SO SO MANY people with collections filled with 20-80 dollar pops entirely unprotected, just in stacks. It makes absolutely no sense to me, even if you're buying retail at 10-15, why is 60 cents to make them all nice and shiny and sturdy somehow not an obvious move? Even ignoring the damage protection, protectors just make pops look and feel so much nicer. The main ones I use are the EcoTek ones with tabs, they ARE on the thinner side, but they are very consistent (I think only 2-3 very slightly cracked (still usable) out of 600), affordable (60 cents), and easy to get, and when folded right (doing each fold in both directions, and once the POP is in pinching all the edges to make them pointy instead of rounded) they stack perfectly square and feel nice. The tabs are only an issue if you take the POPs back out, but I clean/dust my figures and make sure they're all good before sealing them in so like 99% of the time I never have to undo the tab, which is still doable without bending the protector, just a bit annoying. And the tab does have the benefit of keeping that back side closed and more rigid... I have some of the thicker protectors, but honestly I don't like them because of how so many have tops that bulge upwards, especially the ones with the stamped logos, it makes pops impossible to stack cleanly on my shelves. One thing to heavily avoid with protectors, is some of the older or cheaper ones that fit very snugly, where there's no extra space. The EcoTek ones leave about 2mm on all sides, so the boxes are suspended in the center, which helps avoid damage from pressure just like bubblewrap would in a shipping box.
All great advice when it comes to protecting your collection. 😊 I guess I probably wouldn't mind the tab so much if we didn't take stuff out of protectors so much to film shorts. EcoTek does make great protectors too. My favorite are Chalice and I buy them when they do 20% off. $16 for 20 of them is a great deal. I also agree with the thicker ones. Not a huge fan. Only thing i would've said differently is about grails, it's such a complicated topic to put into 2 categories, but you still explained it well

Hey buddy great video full of information. A couple things I would have mentioned would be scented pops also you have sepia for different variants. Also for abbreviations you have out of box which is oob . Then a lot of people don't understand damage and the scale of like 5.5 to 10 I think a lot of people don't think about that when buying pops or mystery boxes. Otherwise I think you did a great job. You covered a lot of things and went into some pretty good detail. There's so much more that have been with different variants of Things Different products and with chases back in the day they were one out of every 36 instead of one out of six so I mean there's some things you missed but you can't know everything or remember everything it's crazy.
