As a f2p neuvillette main for over a year I’ve been wondering why he’s only hitting around 40k dmg ( with sig ) when my crit ratio is 30: 320. Turns out, it’s because I only have 27k HP on him 😭. Thanks! This video helped me finally hit some nicer numbers with my neuvillette :D
@ the biggest differences are furina and xilonen but mainly xilonen. Neuvs most used teams on release was with kazuha and 2 other flex units often zl fishl but sometimes people replaced fishl with childe for extra lvl and hydro resinance. After the release of furina his most used teams were with kazu, furina, zl or baizhu. But with xilonen now she boost that teams damage even further yet again.

@ oh yeah neuv best team i was talking abt is neuv kazu xilonen and furina Also if u play nahida kuki and xq kazuha wont do that much cuz its a hyperbloom team (most damage is from hyperbloom aka dendro meaning kazuha cant buff it) it is more recommended u play another hydro unit instead like with yelan or furina in that team. Obv u can do what u want at the end of the day its just a game afterall
No, 1:2 with greater allowance of error on cdmg because it’s just a greater roll than other stats, otherwise you lessen the value of a cdmg roll with abysmal crit rate further from 1:2.
@@sharp4ce378 lol 1:2 is just a general idea on what your builds should roughly look like but its not the end all be all in most cases. 34/200 is fine on neuv since MH 4pc has 100% uptime all things considered. generally the better crit rule would be getting as high as possible while keeping a decent balance without having to sacrifice too much of any important stats .

I think ideally u need to be quite a bit higher than only 30% to be okayish in the crit rate category….and the er u are running is sustainable only bcs u are running double electro with prototype amber generally if u don’t have his signature u will ideally want a bit more
I gotta say this is one of the Best videos explaining how stats should be prioritized, well done I would like to add one thing: For f2p players widsith is also an amazing choice, i tested widsith at lvl 90 vs amber at lvl 90, and widsith does around 10% better, for reference, his solo damage is : Widsith: 16k CA Amber :14k CA And i must add, with widsith's passive (33% chance to get elemental bonus) Widsith does 23k CA Overall i feel widsith provides higher damage output from my tests
Nah prototype amber is still better due to its utility as passive…your team gets healed and on top of that also gets energy recharge and it’s more simple to refine? Hell yeah
well if u already have 200% crit damage, go for amber cuz the Hp going to benefit more. If you got less than 200% crit damage go for widsith i noticed this on a few of my characters and i believe it goes the same for neuvillette 😊

I realize this video is a year old, but a small correction: I don’t think he really works well with Dendro-centric teams at all. Dendro teams tend to centre around one specific reaction, like Bloom or Spread, while Neuvillette wants as many different Hydro reactions going on as possible due to his A1 passive buffing his damage when different Hydro reactions take place. His best reaction is without a doubt Vaporize, as it buffs his personal damage.
I would go higher on the crit rate and lower on crit damage if needed. My damage calculator gave me far higher damage output using a 59/138 crit build compared to a 28/183 crit build, all other things equal. Do the math and you’ll see why.
30% crit rate is absurdly low even with marachausse hunter, since high critdamage (200 or more) is basically useless on non crits. Id say at least 45 or even 50
I have 22crit rate it just works fine atleast for me . i dont miss crits with neuvillette... i main characters like Navia ,xiao , yelan with 80%+ crit rate and miss crits all the time... 🥲 The critrate percentage is so unconvincing
imo, u should consider his talent which provide bonus ca damage when more element react, in my experience, this deals a lot more damage (from 23-27k to 33-35k), fyi i use hp/hp/cdm rather than hp/hydro/cdm (cuz my hydro arte stat still bad), anw good guide, keep it up

He would proc bloom quite often, but you'd need an off field electro like fiscal or yae miko to hyperbloom. Kuki is great for it too, but I'd imagine you're a bit far from your opponent since he's neuvillette

im tworn between prototype amber or widsith prototype amber can literally support the team a little and more consistent but widsith has crit damage as substats can you show a comparison? (of course not taking into account the 1/3 chance you landing the elemental damage bonus cause its not reliable) also if you have a good heart of dept with good crit rate substat, it can deal more damage, but hell no im not farming that domain, i dont have a good cryo character to use it on so might as well stick with the hunter for now
The damage between our nuvellate are almost the same but mine is at lv 80 can't ascend him because im just reaching ar 45; 😅 i farmed early for nuvellate without even reaching ar 45 and got the full set now just need to improve my artifacts over time
the difference between hydro and hp goblet is literally 7% assuming prot amber and a mere 4% assuming sig, its not enough to be worried over imo, if you have a good hp gob just use it while u passively farm for a better hydro one
bro i'm a fucking idot, for no logical reason i thought his charged attack increases with increase his elemental skill and burst, my nuvillete is at level 69 annd I havent upgraded that talents even once
i usually utilized rosaria's passive which is the additional 15% critrate whenever u use her burst and benneth's elemental burst buff, and eat dilucs specialty dish to add a significant amount of both crit and critdamage

Yes to the HP% goblet if it has better du stats then any hydro goblets you have or don't have. Yeah r5 amber is good but even r1 is enough (r5 heals the team for more and gives more energy so if you got energy problems that could help). Most strongest is a c1 neuv with kazuha furina and baizhu. Furina is for the buff beizhu to help and give the first reaction and kazuha for buff for hydro dmg and debuffs on enemies via viridescent. neuvillette can be paired with beidou or raiden since they do interact with charged attacks or fishl for off-field support (reaction 1) then an anemo user for the shred via viridescent (reaction 2 swirl) and any healer you want but you best have a shielder or you can get knocked out of your charged attack (non issue with beidou) the healer should be a third element so you maximize his stacks. C0 and furina is the same dmg wise so if you have her you can use her but it won't be much better then a team with a third element. Hope this helps
Hydro goblet is better but hp goblet will do for now ...I have hydro goblet with 2 hp substats and double crit..but none of those crit rolled..only hp rolled ..i still use it cause hp is also good for him(didn't worry too much about crit cause I have his signature which gives him 306 crit damage)and hydro goblet atleast for me gives better performance...

if not C1 try as much as possible to avoid putting another hydro in his team (and no C1 is not worth it unless your going for C2 and just like the vid said might as well go for the weapon at that point) Neuv has a passive that stacks 3 times with CA damage 110/125/160% notice the large jump on the 3rd stack it whats make neuv's CA OP to gain stacks you need to proc hydro related reactions (the stack last for long so its not a tight rotation) having another hydro in your team means you only have 2 other elements to react from although you can do this in domains or abyss if the enemy lineup has elements since it doesnt matter which of your team procs as long as it happens the stack is applied if you want hyperbloom and want to avoid someone stealing the elements, just slap a geo char to do the crystalize it can proc the stack if it crystalizes hydro or anemo to swirl the hydro and it will proc too
I mean it's fine because of the hp% stat BUT it's still lower than proto Amber so.... And the weapon skill is almost useless on him, but sure you can use it on him as a temporary weapon of sorts until you get proto Amber or something better 😀

I have 25/200 and it's pretty consistent. And with vape and khazuha vv 65k to 80k per shots is easy
C1 opens up another slot for hydro for the resonance while keeping the stacks full. yeah, furina

Proto amber is better than widsith for neuvi in my experience. I have neuvi with 29cr and 212cd and 38k hp

Prototype amber no contest. Widsith is too inconsistent because 2 of the 3 passive buffs are useless on him
The other guy beat me to it lmao, but yeah proto Amber definitely. The 2/3 chance of getting the useless buffs on him is just too big of a demerit tbh

Hydro goblet is better but hp goblet will do for now ...I have hydro goblet with 2 hp substats and double crit..but none of those crit rolled..only hp rolled ..i still use it cause hp is also good for him(didn't worry too much about crit cause I have his signature which gives him 306 crit damage)and hydro goblet atleast for me gives better performance...
Generally i use 2 geo characters and childe for him for the resonance and childes passive
If only that atk rolls on the cd circlet is on hp% instead, you can have more dmg.
Wait, what's with the cr being less required than cdmg? Can someone explain?? I've been struggling to keep his 1:2 ratio, which is why i gave up the tome of eternal flow and put him on lost prayers to get a 60/180 ratio.

because if you’re using the hunter’s 4piece, it already provides an additional 36% cr
personally u need atleast 50cr I have have checked it more hp means more dmg but he won't crit if his cr is low

I personally prefer 35+ now since I adjusted my build, but you can go higher if you prefer crit consistency over higher DMG per crit

If you only keep getting the DMG boost, yes. Though the 1/3 rng chance for it is bad IMO, I'd rather recommend proto amber

if not C1 try as much as possible to avoid putting another hydro in his team (and no C1 is not worth it unless your going for C2 and just like the vid said might as well go for the weapon at that point)
Neuv has a passive that stacks 3 times with CA damage 110/125/160% notice the large jump on the 3rd stack it whats make neuv's CA OP
to gain stacks you need to proc hydro related reactions (the stack last for long so its not a tight rotation)
having another hydro in your team means you only have 2 other elements to react from
although you can do this in domains or abyss if the enemy lineup has elements since it doesnt matter which of your team procs as long as it happens the stack is applied
if you want hyperbloom and want to avoid someone stealing the elements, just slap a geo char to do the crystalize it can proc the stack if it crystalizes hydro or anemo to swirl the hydro and it will proc too
i use widsith and i can say I'm satisfied
