I love Hawkin’s. Gens take forever to get done since they are so hidden and the loops are pretty bad outside of 2 spots. Most killer powers can eliminate these, but even if they can’t it still took 5 and a half minutes uninterrupted to get those done from 3 healthy survivors. All they had to do was drop or initiate chase at any point.
pro super secret killer tip: if you're getting rekt like this, give up chasing the (likely) best player on enemy team, go after the worse players. Avoid the great loopers and save the best ones for later in the game where you can afford it more.

Zubat is purposely walking/ letting go of sprint after he vaults so chase doesnt start.Entity block doesnt happen unless you're in chase. So basically you can infinitely vault as long as chase never starts. Apparently chase cant start through the glass 😂😂
The best way to counter this as any killer is to leave that area alone, let them do the gen above. That way if they run to the infinite, just go back to defending gens. Remember, they gotta come to you.
The window blocker was a later addition to the game that was meant to be a band-aid while they redesigned all the maps and removed all the infinites. It wasn’t designed as (and never worked as) a chase mechanic that helps the game.
There is actually a large amount of killers that counter this, and while it is OP against other killers that can't, blight being one that cannot counter it no matter what, I have come up with a list of all the characters that this doesn't work on. Nurse, Spirit, Wesker, Cenobite, Twins, Hag, Chucky, Unknown, Knight, Artist, Singularity, Pyramid Head, Dredge, Deathslinger, and Trapper. Some of these take luck, like Pyramid Head, Spirit, and Trapper, all the rest can very reliably counter this, with Deathslinger and Wesker requiring some skill to pull off, they still can do it.
That room is such a hit or miss place. You get so many free hits from survivors trying to hide there. But if you ever get someone who knows how to run that place you're best off pushing survivors off nearby gens to finish the gen there so you don't have to run there anymore.
He legit had no reason to be there lmao. Hardest gen to defend in the map, far away from everything else and of course trying to chase around this god window without already chasing a survivor, without using the power on top of that. This Blight made all the wrong decisions.
When I played as Spirit against KL, I was able to beat this window by blocking it with my husk and forcing him to jump. Because of this, he got stuck between the window and the husk and got hit.
I still feel like he would’ve initiated chase if he kept vaulting and direct chasing, he kept trying to mind game through clear glass and failing easy rushes lol
This map has many pallets but most of them aren't safe, it's okay to have a strong window. Considering that the game is already leaning towards Killers, having a few strong windows or loops here and there won't change anything. Plus, going against a baby Killer isn't exactly the best showcase scenario.

problem i have with this game is it has to many OP/god LOOPS people tell you to chase a different survivor lol! doesn't work out when your going vs a team and they all abuse/exploit the easy loops. combine that crap with perks like buckle up that gives a second chance since killer power and m1's automatically stun the killer!, or background player which is gices 200% ms and 5seconds impossible to catch survivor at that distance or to know survivor location. game is honestly absurd! you have to have like 3 vault killer perks just to match survivor vault speed LOL!. using power on blight in those tight corners everywhere is kinda hard, problem is the killer can't get chase, and no chase means no bloodlust. some vault windows are like that on maps. thats why going vs AI bots was STUPID your literally forced to use power since you can't juke them and most 4.4 killers its impossible to catch them unless you use power cause you wont get chase on them half the time. i honestly feel like there are way to many pallets in this game, like most maps still have to many pallets before all the gens are DONE! which i find extremely unfair, cause as a survivor you still get vault locations and teammates who can body block. on top of that some maps have double to quad vault locations right next to each other literally impossible to catc ha survivor or your going to be wasting way to much time.
That's a bug. There's a bug in the game where you sometimes don't go in chase. I don't know how old this vid is, but pretty sure they (somewhat) fixed it in the latest patch, cuz I don't remember getting this bug that much since then.
Take a look at that “shift tech” he brings up in the video. Ever since they put this band-aid into the game, it’s been exploitable. From Legion to Pig to PWYF, entering and exiting chase is a skill just like pathing or hitting fast vaults.

Shift teching is better with Fixated, cuz you can walk with more speed thus resulting in more distance, but other than that, it's not very effective. What you're seeing in this video is not realy shift teching cuz what you're seeing is a chase bug. I've had this exact same thing on different maps where I could keep vaulting shack window and it didn't block. I was quite literally running in their face - therefore not shift-teching. Hence, what you're seeing in this video is a chase bug, not shift-teching. Shift-teching is about LOSING chase. Chase bug is about the chase not STARTING.
Windows only get blocked by survivor vaults if they're in chase, Zubat never entered chase by only running when Blight didn't have LOS (the glass wall should really not block LOS, but it does)
Chase gets initiated when you have clear line of sight to surv for 2 seconds and is close enough to them. He always break LOS by being on the other side of the glass wall.
