This man has been hurt by the industry. And it breaks my heart that he had to finally put his emotions on his sleeve and let us know exactly how he is feeling. It just sickens me to think that the industry has brought him to this point. This man RM is an absolute genius with his lyrics and poetry. This is my absolute favorite song. The scenery in this video is beautifully done. Then you have this beautiful man pouring his heart out. He has put up with all the hate and prejudice and now he has spoken through song. And I am here for it. What a masterpiece.

"Not even knownig my own sandess, I made friends with the shadows" He lost himself where he didn't even notice he was doing things to cope with loss. God damn this song is going down in the history books.

the lyrics are so beautiful but they are even more heart wrenching when you find out namjoon has said before that he doesn't want to be like a firework, something that burns so brightly in the sky but falls so quickly, hence the lyrics "i yearned for a beautiful fall, even before the start". he instead wants to be like wild flowers, or in this song, flowerworks. wild flowers are known to be beautiful and resilient as well as growing in barren lands, hence the line "I'll stay in this barren land". they flourish in places no one ever imagined they could and they spread far across biomes. hence, namjoon wants to live like wildflowers and fall like flowerworks, having a long, steady, and beautiful career despite gaining lesser recognition that fireworks that burn out and die after their climax.
As soon as i heard this I imagined Jimin singing youjeen's part in this song,, like he would eat that up!! I love how polished and well made indigo is!!! its such a masterpeice and all the featuring artists fit so well,, Im in love.

I will openly (but somewhat shamefully) admit that RM was not bias. I truly respected him a leader and for his hardwork as a songwriter for BTS but I never appreciated RM as the beautiful poet, artist and human that he is. His passion for art is so profound. RM is extremely underrated in BTS (I mean people love BTS lyrics and a good majority of them are written by him. He is one of the main pillars of BTS)…I mean no disrespect but I recommend getting to know him better and getting to know him better.
