I have a black 5th Avenue 1987. I parked side by side with the black Thunderbird. It was in amazing original condition! Owner only wanted $3,500 for it. Even in a small town in Maine, I call the guy a month later...gone!
I know you put these up mainly to sell but it’s nice to see so many cars that look to be loved and well maintained. If I ever get around to shopping for another classic, I’ve got you at the top of the list.
True, standard equipment on the 77 did not include bird emblems, but an option package included a nicer interior and the bird emblems on the headlight doors.
It is a great car! If there is anything we can do to help you, please let us know. You are also more than welcome to look at the car in person or send a third party independent inspector if you like!
You have to have money to burn to buy these cars. A piece of garage art. I'd take the $22.5k and put it down on the upcoming '23 Prius. I'll go to car shows for the nostalgia but none of the headaches of ownership. My brother has a '70 Mustang and it's always needing something. It's just a weekend toy too..
I think that is the 78 version my father had the 77 and it did not have the emblem on the head lights my uncle had the 78 version which had the emblem on the head lights
So if someone bought this car in 1977 for about $5,000 and sold it today for $22,900 which is actually a loss when adjusted for inflation, would you have to pay taxes on the increased number of dollars?
@mrski749 the 1970s were hard on Detroit. Gas was in short supply due to two major Arab oil embargos so fuel economy and lower emissions were being forced by the government. The 302 is a decent motor because you still get V8 power and smoothness but doesn't guzzle gas like a big block
That body style has never lost its appeal.
My Uncle Bill had this very car. Same color, wheels and everything. Bought it new. It was a stunning looking car. Still a looker.

that car is gorgeous....the wheels are incredible...
best window shopping experience ever.
The headlight covers make it a 1978 not 1977 which had no chrome or birds on them.
You are correct. Perhaps they replaced them.Front end damage?
I had a '77 and I put those trim rings on the headlights, so that is a possibility. The VIN says it is a '77 (looked it up on website).
It’s not a 20k mile car. Maybe 120k.

@@mhyatt82262 you are insane. Did you watch the video at all? That car is immaculate.
That's a clean bird my type of ride might need to get me a loan
A classic beauty indeed👍
Loving the in car video segments!! But PLEASE get a better camera position, from the center so we can see. The current position is useless for video.
I remember when the 1980 Thunderbird came out the commercial also said thunder was still there, but the car was not up to the task.
You can never go wrong with a T-Bird.
She's a Beauty !
Wow if I wasn't so afraid of buying a car online I would take it. Beautiful car!

Very nice example of the best selling T Bird in all reality it is a Gran Torino rebadged for 77 thx for sharing this ...I would consider it..

Not 77.78 tbird eblem never used on light covers til 78
And you can NEVER just add the emblems right? 🤦♀️
Nice clean ride
I believe the 77 had a optional 351 Windsor engine
Beautiful car
Love that

This car’s ride is close to the Lincoln Mark. Sound deadening and other factors in the Lincoln but the ride is close
77 was fords year the T bird was a hit the quality was good better than 73 74 75 nightmare s years you see plenty on the roads in the 90s
This is a 78 Thuinderbird, not a 77. The headlight door design is the giveaway.
Because you can’t just add the emblems to a ‘77, right? Maybe try and think before you comment. Just a little at least.
This is a 1977.
What size motor?
302. He said it in the video.
This thing is an eyesore! And a gas hungry beast
U don't know your classics these cars was a eye catcher
Taking it out in the salt? OMG!
OMG!!!! The SALT!!!!!!! And we all know you can’t wash salt off of a car right? 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
Trim Rings On the Headlamp Covers make it look like a '78 , The '77s did not have them
And you can’t add the emblems to a ‘77, right? 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
302 engine? My '78 had a 351 modified.
THATS AWESOME! You’re the coolest guy on the internet!!!!
Does it do a burn out!
Heck No
👍👍👍

Me gusta el carro

In 1990…I purchased one for $1100…
I never like that Thunderbird model it looks CHEAP the DIAMOND JUBILEE look a little bit Better still not the best model
It is a 1978.
DERP
That is a 78 not a 77
Tell me you know nothing without saying you know nothing.
remote mirror not power
Hermoso, 👍
Beautiful American steel!! Buy American!!
The 302 is not a good engine for this car
