@@ZonxScratch A better way to make the cookie smoothly change size is this script:
What this does is it subtracts the current size from the target size, then changes the size by a fraction of the difference. Hope this helped :)

Yo Scratch 1.4 was basically my first engine I used, so much nostalgia
If you want to know how to use change size for smoother size, do: (Your input size - Sprite Size) divided by smoothness ( i usually use 4)
on the last one, you could have done that the bullet dissapears when you hit a enemy with it
The original version of scratch you use in this video seems so much better than scratch 3.0 except for the fact they don't have clones because clones are one of the most used, like things in scratch almost every game ever on scratch uses clones and they're so revolutionary but I really like the original version you use in this video cause it just generally looks better (except for the default Sprites) and has some more extra little features also the Sprite editor paint thing just seems so much better, BUT THEY DON'T HAVE CLONES WHYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!

1:56 The "0 +" isnt necessary here and I'd do "sin of timer / (number1) * (number2)" which is more easier to control

1:10 its better to use change since when subtracting the size from the input, your calculating the amount to change by and the reason it was so big is that it was setting the size to 300. Using set causes a bouncy effect a bit so thats the only reason to really use it
pretty sure this is just a simple way of linear interpolation
oh and btw when you do use change you have to make sure the divide is dividing the whole thing
so instead of set size to (300 - (size / 2))
do change size by ((300 - size) / 2)
those cheese puffs shouldn't have gotten removed

change x speed by right pressed? - left pressed? * whatever speed u want
change y speed by up pressed? - down pressed? * whatever speed u want

Fun fact: idk if you can do this on the first version of scratch but if you make an invisible square around your sprite then your sprite can now go off-screen!

The version of Scratch you're using (1.4) is not the first version of Scratch; it's not even the first released version. The oldest found Scratch version is Scratch 11Oct03; the first publicly released version of Scratch was 1.0, released in January 2007. The Scratch Wiki provides download links for some pre- and post- release versions (though not all, there are over 150 pre-release versions and the wiki has articles on maybe 20).

( no hate comment) is not the first version of scratch is the version of 2007 and the first version is of 2003 and download is on scratch wiki and to play i son squeak download and insert the .image file of scratch and finish (seach on wiki scratch wiki this {2003 or 2004 or 2005 or 2006 ) on wayback machine to view projects and test is on scratch put the link of scratch and put on the first version and click on share your project and you can download and go to scratch and go to load and finish
