Can y'all do a video on the Zero-RB strategy this year? I've never been a fan of it, but this season seems perfect to give it a try. With the 'Elite RB' selection dwindling, and the 'Elite WR and TE' selection more than plentiful, I'm going to try it out on a couple teams. I'd like to hear what y'all have to say about which RBs to draft in later rounds. So far I'm thinking maybe Jonathon Brooks, Trey Benson, Aaron Jones, Gus Edwards, and DeAndre Swift, to name a few. Anyone else got any advice on that? Anyone done the Zero-RB strategy lately?
ive never understood the zero rb strategy bc like you said elite rbs are hard to come by therefore they have more value.. so the way i see it is go for the elite rbs if you can and then theres still plenty of wr/te talent on the board afterwards
I don't think it's a good year for zero RB. The rookies aren't looking all that good, and you won't get as much of a positional advantage at TE and QB as years prior. But if you must.. load up on later round RBs that are rookies, 2nd year guys with some hope or ones in crowded backfields and pray some of them win the lead role. There is always a chance that an injury leaves them as the bellcow. Your first few weeks can be really rough with zero RB. Hero RB seems much more feasible.
Im staying away from collins at his ADP. You hit the nail on the head with his projections. I was thinking the same thing. Eckeler on the other hand, you got me thinking 🤔 Good content as always 👍🏼
Just don't get obsessed with feeling like every player you need to have needs to be young. You wanna start with a good mixture of players cuz you still want to win this year too
Ive been watching Eckler's ADP. If he stays in the area hes in I'll snag him. Im with you Jake he hasn't been used enough in the past to be done yet. Im hoping for one more solid year. RB2 or better is a steal with him being RB 33.
As a J E T S fan your info. Alone about Rodgers is really spot on and as draft value hell yes I'm sold sign me up keep it up with all the great and useful information LETS GO
Who would you rather take a chance on out of the Texans receivers Diggs, Collins, or Dell who has the best value of the 3? I think thats a good video as well.
I feel like Collins may be the deep guy so a bit boom and bust. Diggs may get steady mid field work. Dell in the slot but maybe. But feels like they can all play each level some. Collins seems like the bigger endzone body. Best case before tds...maybe diggs is around 12 ppr points regularly with not a lot of boom games. And the other 2 have a handful of big games when they score but also plenty of ghost games. Or maybe a couple have 18 and 1 has 8 or 10 pts a game. So maybe diggs as a consistent wr2? The others help and then hurt you 50% of the time?????
@@TheFantasyHeadliners yeah exactly I was thinking him or Diggs because one thing about Diggs he's known as a top tier route runner and always get separation so he tends to get open more than other receivers, I like Collins but I just don't see him getting more targets than Diggs.
After last year where it felt like WR value was cheap and easy while RB value was highly concentrated, this year feels like the opposite. WR’s after overall 20 feel like dart throws, while there is rock solid RB value through overall 90. My first two picks this year are all but guaranteed to be WR’s
@@TheFantasyHeadliners I’m not betting the season on Zamir White at #74, or Zack Moss at #90, but their workload is safe, and their value is nuts. By contrast, Mike Evan’s is probably the last clear-cut lead WR, and he’s out in the mid-20’s.
Funny, i have Rodgers and Stevenseason on my Fantasy Team. The chance for Eckeler is the new HC, so he is interesting for me for a later pick, but i stay also away of collins and the whole WRs, because Houston we have a problem.
Great advice as always Jake ! I'm wary of Rodgers as i took him late last year to be my starter 🙄 luckily I was able to pick up Stroud off waivers and then someone dropped Dak ! Happy days !

Have a PPr keeper league. Have to keep 2. 1 is gona be henry. Should number 2 be??? Diggs Pittman K walker Dell McBride Ekeler I'm sure it should be between the top 3. (Commish decided to vote it to 2 keepers and not have a new draft so after diggs and ekeler flops...I'm stuck without any true number 1s and all old guys)
Question: longtime listener here (4 years or so?), but something has always confused me in the fantasy football world. Why should I be concerned with ADP? I’ve always gone for best player available, regardless of where other leagues are drafting. It’s a good way to predict a draft, but I feel it’s a less-than-ideal was of determining who you draft. Am I misunderstanding Average Draft Position and when it is used? It has just never been a deciding factor for me come draft time. Just curious, because Dare Ogunbowale’s ADP is WHACK! 😂
I explain it like this ... If you go into a store and the sign says $4.99 are you going to pay $8.99 for it cause you want it? If people are allowing players to fall the best thing you can do is get them at the cheapest price possible. ADP is just a ballpark of when the masses take those players so you have an idea what you'll need to pay for them.... If the dudes ADP is 65th and you take him at 60 you're paying right around his value. If his ADP is 65th and you take him at 35 more than likely you could have drafted someone else cause he would have made it another round or so.
@@TheFantasyHeadliners that’s a very expert explanation haha thank you guys! Cant say I fully understand he value of ADP, but it’s inarguably a very helpful aid to draft strategies. Always good to get someone on a discount
Im still pretty skeptical of austin ekeler hitting that ceiling, which pains me to say as a diehard chargers fan. It could just be because he doesnt fit the harbaugh scheme, but i just have a bad feeling about him. Love the content and thanks for the 2 fantasy rings i got last year.
@@gamingtyme3209 they’re being drafted in the same round so yes. Otherwise no. Really shows you your draft knowledge lol. Singletary goes around 95-115. Chubb has been going 105-125 roughly in my drafts. Why would you not compare them? Chubb is expected to score almost as many FP as singletary is in less games because he’s out for the first bit. Same goes for Ekeler. He’s not being picked 1.1-1.3 anymore he’s being picked 10.1 or later. So you no longer need to compare him to round 1 RBs
You think Allen Lazard still a good pick for bestball in the last round? Since Rogers had him come to the Jets and Williams health ain’t always the best
@TheFantasyHeadliners he only has to share touches with Gibson, the receiver room is shaky, and Brissett/Maye will check down regularly. Most of all, he's a beast when healthy.
@TheFantasyHeadliners Alex Van Pelt said offense is going to focus on running the ball. When he was with the Browns, they had a top 5 rushing offense almost every year with well over 2,000 total rushing yards. The year Rhamondre ranked rb11 in 2022, the team only totaled somewhere around 1,600 total rushing yards. Rhamondre isn't going to split 50/50 with Gipson. Probably more like a 70/30 or 60/40 split.
I'm all over Rodgers this year! I'm that guy who never drafts a QB until guys start drafting their second QB. Worked last year cause I drafted Stroud, I grabbed Jackson on his breakout year, too.
I'm ok doing the same thing. I traded Josh Palmer for Stroud last year 😂 traded Geno and some other garbage player for Purdy also. I drafted Geno as my starter. Love drafting a late stack this year. Baker and Godwin, Herbert and McConkey, Stafford and Kupp... There are a couple more... Goff and Monty
Gibson is not a threat. 2024 is going to be Rhamondre Steven-season once again! Love the take on Diggs. Just because he had a bad stretch at the end of last season, people are showing him no love. He is going to be the WR 1 on Houston.

Ekeler should be a good guy to draft as RB3 after people losing faith in him last year

Great content, always looking forward to watching
Much appreciated
Let’s get it headliners! Last year the draft guide was a huge help in getting the ship

Lovin Rogers this year. Great later round QB to pickup. #GOINGDEEP

Thanks again Headliner, great stuff!
