I think of these players, Gibbs has the highest chance of being the most successful. Best O line in football and at some point, They are going to realize he has too much talent to not be on the field.Pass Pro. being his only weakness
Achane and Gibbs are gonna go NUCLEAR, go big or go home when it comes to fantasy in my opinion. Rather have Gibbs though if I had to pick between the 2.
@@clifmillercmyou’ll regret it when he starts outing up 40fp in a game every game. Dude was on pace to destroy even what Kyren Williams did last year had he not got injured
@@billjones8950 he’s going win people some weeks but I don’t think 40 a game will be sustainable all year. Even with the year Mostert had, he still had stretches of 4-5 games under 15 last year
@@clifmillercm true. His problem isn’t unique tho. Basically anyone who’s picked round 1-3 has to perform or you lose. I don’t really like picking guys who went undrafted or late picks last year in the first or second round this year either. But I don’t really like a lot of the late 1st early 2nd picks
Another banger video. I agree with every call here except Nacua. I think Kupp will take the Robert Woods role while Puka does what Cooper did back then. Also, the Rams will be playing from behind more this year since their defense got worse without Donald.
Random question for Headliner Nation: who would you draft late first round, Garrett Wilson or Drake London? I like them both this season and had a very hard time deciding between them on a mock draft I had last night. Just wondering other Headliners opinions. Both could be top 5 WRs (or maybe top 10) but they also have a lot to lose if their QB gets hurt or just busts. I like Garrett Wilson a little more, but I have more faith in Cousins (Rodgers is better, but seems to be injury prone lately).
Wilson....Rodgers always plays better whenever he has something to prove...plus as far as passing options Wilson is the first and possibly only option as a go to receiver for him...remember how he fed Adam's.....this is rhe younger version.
absolut! Gibbs and Nacua are 2nd rounder for me, Achane perfekt for bestball, MHJ could be the one who delivers, but ARI plays in the playoffs in NE, very hard game.
On my last 4 money teams I’ve drafted I’ve been getting Achane n 4th round and I’ll take him everytime there! Have him paired with CMC on 3 and Breece on 1. Plus n second & third I took Wilson & Kelce hoping to have maybe 3 guys at #1 at their position.
Love the Math breakdown. Def helps. However, the biggest factor w fantasy comes down to the non-mathematical injury factor. I agree w Achane just due to number of dudes they have to get the ball to, but Achane is a dawg. Not only with his speed but his innate ability to make guys miss in tight spaces. And he runs hard. He also gained weight this year and wouldn't be surprised if he became the next best RB in the league. Lot of tough decisions this upcoming season.
The most important thing is roster construction and player performance. You don’t need a chance to put up 40fp if your 100th pick RB puts up 40fp. Puka is a good example. The only teams he really helped are teams that didn’t go WR heavy in the beginning. Like if you had st brown. Lamb. Cooper and Ridley you really didn’t need puka and would have been better off with Kyren or Achane. Meanwhile if you had Gibbs and Mcaffery you’d be better off with a late round Puka.
I can agree with everyone besides Puka. Kupp is back and Puka is there too. I forsee Puka retaking his spot and Kupp taking a step back due to age and injury. It wouldn't shock me if Kupp is the 1B.
i drafted jj at 2 and he didnt return value last year but he didnt cost me the championship either. So, if a player can atleast get you consistent points thats what wins championships imo
Why? If we’re being honest. Picks 7-12 this year are garbage compared to picks 7-12 last year. Best draft spot this year is 4-6. The chase, Jefferson, st brown. Spot.
@channellift2775 I'm confident you don't want me to do that. This is my job I use to pay for vacations. I have taken home over 100k in the last 6yrs. Please invite me, as long as the buy-in is at least $1,000.
Aaak. Ya achane tough call. He will be a keeper for me,but yes I darn well know I need to draft a consistent player to supplement. But ain't passing the points potential
Nah you good fam. So i am currently doing a FFPC and I drafted Harrison and Gibbs and nervous as hell. Harrison fine but ADP way out of line. Kid gonna get CB1 NFL level. Gibbs will be vultured by Monty again as well. My personal feeling is while the risk is very high you understand that these players any given week can get you a win. I frankly get bored with the WR say who has that floor of 5 catches 70yd (zzzzz) these players are game changers and fun to watch and have on your team. As they say in medical field benefit outweighs risk
I am in a PPR league and I can keep only 1 player. Ihave Gibbs RB and Kelce TE. What is your suggestion? I am really looking for the draft guide you mentioned. This would help me in this years draft.
Do they return on expectation? Maybe not 💯. Elite status is hard to maintain, but the risk is definitely worth the reward. Especially with The Headliners crunching the numbers for us #themathismathing
I think you have to look at who is being drafted near the guys on this list. Guys like Garret Wilson, Marvin Harrison and Drake London are being picked around the same ADP as Puka Nacua and Jahmyr Gibbs. If those are the guys I'm looking at when it's my turn to pick, I'm taking Gibbs or Nacua over the others. Wilson and London have never performed at that level before, and Harrison is a rookie that has never played an NFL down. I agree on Devon Achane because you really don't know how this backfield will break down. Not only is Mostert coming back off his best season ever, but you have Jaylen Wright, who looks to be about the same as Achane and don't forget Jeff Wilson, who played a big role in Miami in 2022. The Dolphins also like to use three RBs at times as well. With Harrison, if I pick a rookie, I want to get a discount on him. Harrison is being picked at his ceiling. To me he looks like this year Bijan Robinson from 2023.
I would say these guys are a better in best ball at their current adp's! As far as gibbs goes im betting on them(gibbs/monty) being a 2017 kamara/ingram situation, making both worth it at their adps, just spend up and start both every week👍
In my keeper league I can get Achane pretty cheap, and the other option is Stevenson but seems I am leaning towards Stevenson since he is the RB 1 in NE. Thoughts? =)
Not disagreeing, but what do you think about the latter half of the season when Kupp returned & Puka was still getting volume? You think Kupp just wasn't fully healthy when he was out there, or that defenses were still prioritizing Kupp over Puka?
As long as I get another RB either right before or right after I pick Achane I see it as a good move. Just in case he’s not the real #1 in Miami, you still have someone with close value and can find another couple good potential steals or playables to cover any losses 💯
I would take the chance with the rookie wr over the others, just too many mouths to feed and also injury risks are likely with 2 of the rbs if they got huge volume increase.
Numbers don’t lie, I like the achane breakdown. He can’t sustain last years numbers plus too many mouths to feed. Add to that teams weren’t ready for him last year- he surprised everyone. They can scheme for him better now.

Gibbs is good but you’re right he’s not a work horse. Can’t draft a split back in round 1 or 2 imo
That's what I thought until I saw they were the rb 9 and 10 overall!
@@randybecht7440 round 1 for a borderline top 10 fantasy rb is steep. Would rather get a top 5 wr instead
