I don't know why that one guy in comments is so excited like you've not been gone that long 🤣 but I think he or she was really just worried that you might not come back after going off the grid for a few days lol ... I guess I missed you also lol
yo lojo welcome , i wanna try to civilly and respectfully/respectably say im upset that you didnt pick 1 bait caster , other then that everything is all honky dory perfectly fine so welcome back lojo i missed your fishing shopping antics so much
the spoons I used for bass and trout and pike the brand was red devil, the last lure is what we called a pencil popper used in the salt water for stripers and blues off new york
Those Tsunami jigs work well in saltwater and so do the Yozuris. If you took those 2 lures to Gulf Shores Pier you'd get wrecked. There was far too much line on the reel which caused the wind knot.
9:33 Canadians LOVE those spoons. The red/white and the yellow five of diamonds are almost all I see as a Canadian. Pike, all sorts of trout, walleye, you name it love those spoons and it’s a go to here.
Lojo, you are the only TH-camr I can watch all the way through the vid. Even when you only catch 1-2 bass. You have that entertainment FACTOR that only 1 or 2 have.... KEEP THEM COMING BUDDY!!! Love it.....
Great concept for a video. Should do it again in a different store in a few months for sure. Lotta available mileage here. Another video I's like to see is to blindfold yourself and a friend and you have to choose 3-5 lures from different aisles at random and you guys have to catch a fish with every one to win.
The spoon the one you call tiger stripe is meant to imitate a small perch, it's a very common lure in fresh bodies of water where perch are found, as bass love to munch on small perch. In the great lakes where I fish, it's pretty common.
Those Zig jigs are actually decent lures vary similar to Gotcha plugs. Thing is they are not meant for bass fishing out in a lake. its for vertical jigging in salt water.
Finally back!!! We missed you! I had to grab some slizzard lizards and rattlin neds while they’re on sale. Don’t tell my gf😂 I’ve spent enough on fishing stuff while I’m out of a job and out of commission to fish. I severed a tendon 100% and another 90% in my finger so I’ve been down. I tried to go fishing yesterday with one hand and it was difficult to say the least. I caught a baby crappie, but if a big bass is on I don’t think I can get it😂😂 looking into those pine 9 holsters so I can still rip lips. Going to try again today so y’all wish me luck!!
All those spoons are excellent colors. Not sure for largemouth bass but I have been smashing northern pike on them all my life. The black&white and red&white are my go to Daredevils. Millions of northern pike have been caught on the good old daredevil since its existence.
Mnt Rainer, Washington here. I have a couple different sizes of those Strobe brand spoons. They work pretty good in our local freshwater, they move quite a bit and the bottom is just bare metal so when you straight pull them over a dip or a log, the fish react.
The red and white spoon is super classic. It's called a daredevle I have used them since I was knee high and was taught about them by my dad and grandfather. Mostly for bass and pike. I have used a small one and caught trout and I know of people using them for walleye but have not used them for that myself.
love you lojo thanks for all the entertainment over the years i grew up watching you to make you feel old i started watching you when i was 11 im 17 now keep makeing the great content
@LOJO you were exactly right. Those spoons work really well for either steelhead or salmon. I live up in Washington State and myself and other people catch them on them all the time! Glad you back making content brother, missed ya!!!
Those spoons work great in the great lakes I was born and raised in Chicago and as a kid I would ride to lake Michigan on my bike as a kid every weekend about 7 miles one way and I would use those spoons in those colors that yellow and black colored one worked the best for trout and salmon I caught my biggest king salmon on that color it resembles a yellow perch which are abundant and a main food source in lake Michigan for the big salmon and lake trout I fished the neighborhood pond's during the week for bass and catfish I was that kid riding his bike miles with a fishing pole and tackle box on one side and a stringer full on fish on the other side of my bike but yes those spoons are good for certain fish I've caught muskie and northern Pike with them as well in Minnesota and Wisconsin but I moved out of Chicago in 2000 and went to Kansas because the violence Kansas don't have the same fish but it's great fishing for bass and catfish I've caught all my biggest of them species
Glad you are back. Love the farm stores. You can get most anything at a farm store. Even stuff you didn’t know you needed. LOL 😂. And, apparently you can get some weird fishing tackle. Lot of fun as always. 😎👍
Good to see you posting again man, missed the enthusiastic videos! I bought the same Penn combo and broke it same day Surf fishing at the beach 😂😂 I also have the same reel with a Gomez power handle for my harbor/bay fishing combo Hope to see more content man
welcome back. hope you had fun, can't wait to see the vids. i wouldn't mine having the reel you pulled off the rod. so throw it up in a give-away, too.
@Lojo i missed your shopping antics so much , any chance you could do a grocery store shopping challenge??? or lowes or home depot challenge??? or even inflatable raft challenge using grocery store food ???
Hey lojo great to see ya back can't wait to see what you have planned for the next video. Now the lures you picked might have worked good on the lakes I havevarouf her in Arkansas/ Missouri I live right on the line there's several lakes around me bullshouls and northfork lakes just to name a couple yall should plan a trip this way sometime. We'll buddy get to see yall back till next time tight lines buddy
Fun challenge! I actually love the yozuri floating jerk baits…I have all the sizes. They catch lots of bass. I caught three bass on one cast on the biggest pink one. Crazy bite! Keep trying it!
To fish the gotcha , cast it as far as you can in open water, then steady fast retrieve with a slight jigging action, kill it occasionally to make it sink. It is for covering lots of water and catching high speed fish. the slight jigging makes it swerve side to side in a swimming motion.
I think those spoons have their place! I once was fishing a tournament with my cousin, hadn’t caught anything for hours. Tied on that fire tiger spoon and caught 2 4s, a 3 and a 2 in under 10 mins
Just started bass fishing and it’s so fun all these vids have helped me and I caught my first bass while bass fishing today on a Texas rig with a Speedworm
Lojo im just at the part where you get the spoons. That red and white spoon at the top is a great catfish bait. Im as surprised as you'll be to hear that. I grew up wade fishing the rock river and id get nice Cats on those red/white spoons. Crazy
Spoons are for pike. Im from Canada and the best spoons are the yellow ones with the red diamonds and the orangey chartreuse ones that u have. They look like perch and do really good.
🤣😂 My dad has been using a red and white spoon all his life. Catches every kind of fish and usually can get bit anywhere. Lol. Still one of his go to lures.
Andrew reminds me of a well trained obedient dog the way he agrees and disagrees with everything you say Lojo. I actually find myself laughing like crazy it's so funny sometimes.🤣🤣Give that boy a scooby snack.🤣🤣
That was a pretty cool challenge, I've got a Rural King close by and I love going in and checking out their lures.. They seem to always have some new stuff to try out and the price is always pretty good.. Ollie's is another place that you just never know what they will have.. keep up the good work. Ohhh and I caught a 3.47lber today on a plain green chatter bait , no trailer.. and I agree 100% that I think this summer is going to get rough .
Great challenge idea! Loved it! Avoided biggest rod... whew! Loved that you picked the aesthetic rod I would have picked... and the reel. The lure choices definitely were tough! I was anxious to see just how many fish you might actually catch. When I lived in CT and first started fishing again as an adult (first 2 months), I fished with red and white Devils Horse spoons. Didn't catch much so I stuck with a Hula Popper, Sputterbug, and some other lures I forget. So sorry you lost that "Dumb" lure. Sorry it took so long! Thought that worm would be the deal. Fire tiger spoon wasn't a total surprise, but really glad you fished back home and caught one on the worm. All in all, a cool video. Definitely do that again.
Damn that was hilarious what a nice twist to things I knew the spoon could do it glad your back and all the new content in the works glad your taking action to manage your pond amazing video as always I can't wait for the next one
The dumb lure we call a gotcha plug, we use them for bluefish, Spanish, and other fast aggressive salt water fish. The original plugs were made from a pen body and lead weight for a hook. I live in southeastern NC, Wilmington area.
That white lure is called a gotcha plug in Florida we use it to catch Spanish mackerel and we cast it far and give it a fast retrieve and the mackerel love it
Good to be back folks!! Hope y’all have a safe and fun weekend 😎
I don't know why that one guy in comments is so excited like you've not been gone that long 🤣 but I think he or she was really just worried that you might not come back after going off the grid for a few days lol ...
I guess I missed you also lol
I'm going fishing in the white river I hope I catch some big browns
You gotta get back to the Ayo Norm collabs , missing the entertainment in your vids big time
yo lojo welcome , i wanna try to civilly and respectfully/respectably say im upset that you didnt pick 1 bait caster , other then that everything is all honky dory perfectly fine so welcome back lojo i missed your fishing shopping antics so much
You to have a safe memorial day weekend
Daredevil spoons are amazing, you can catch monster lake trout with those things. Pike go crazy for them as well
Awesome video! Those spoons are used for pike. They’re smaller lures, but they can used for both pike and bads
the spoons I used for bass and trout and pike the brand was red devil, the last lure is what we called a pencil popper used in the salt water for stripers and blues off new york
LOJOOOOO WE MISSED YOU!!!!
I missed you guys!!!
@@lojofishingcan’t wait to see the upcoming videos man. Im sure you had a blast!

Lojooo backk🎣🎣🎣🔥🔥‼️
This finna be gassssss 🔥🔥
👊
9:33 Canadians LOVE those spoons. The red/white and the yellow five of diamonds are almost all I see as a Canadian. Pike, all sorts of trout, walleye, you name it love those spoons and it’s a go to here.
The white lure is a gotcha plug works great for saltwater speckle trout
Gotcha number one Spanish mackerel lure there is
If you put the spool in hot water after you line it, you’ll get less tangled like you did on the first cast 🤙
The spool.
Let’s go he’s finally back
Lojo, you are the only TH-camr I can watch all the way through the vid. Even when you only catch 1-2 bass. You have that entertainment FACTOR that only 1 or 2 have.... KEEP THEM COMING BUDDY!!! Love it.....
I have caught fish on those spoons and the exact colors So many different fish species as well.

A red and white spoon is a great lure - not sure if you remember or heard of a Daredevil spoon but they were money on a lake or river.
It would be great to see footage of you lojo on your vacation. And would like to see more fishing hunting catch and cook with DERRAL .
Whoop whoop oh yeah uncle lojo back in business 👊🏻🎣👍🏻💯🇺🇸

Surf fishing ,good for specks and Spanish .
Bluefish and thredfins love then aswell
You should do a pond video were ever aspect is chosen by the wheel. Lure color, line, line lbs test, rod, reel, ect.
OHHH YEAAAAA
Thank for the fishing updates lojo keep up with the good work 🎉

Red and white daredevil has caught more fish than all the other lures combined .
Good to know
@@jeffreylong9405 maybe if your including all the northern predatory fish but for bass, nothing has caught more than a senko

that last lure you got is a got-cha plug. it's used for spanish mackeral mostly, but blue fish or maybe a king mackeral will hit them.
That combo looks nice! Lures, not so much. Great content!
