Four dudes, out of cash and addicted to cardboard crack, struck a deal with a demon for unlimited booster packs…
…those booster packs just happened to be Fallen Empires.
Now the dudes are stuck on a nightmare plane, forced to play commander by the demon’s janky rules FOR ALL ETERNITY. And you get to watch!
Behold the torture of ultra-budget EDH as the dudes vie for the victor’s prize: the title of JANKLORD and one month in the real world.
Will they find a way to escape? Or play jank forevermore?

Considering that the boys and MST3K are both based in Minnesota, that is almost certainly very much on purpose.

Matthew Castillo it’s like if game knights wasn’t ruled by the “make it look fun even if you have to play poorly” rule.
Brigid's ponytail gets me everytime. So sassy lol
It feels like I was waiting forever for a new episode to go up. But the wait was well worth it. The costumes were awesome, the decks were amazing. And ofcourse the Jank in the air was so thick, I could slowly suffocate on it for a full hour and die a happy man lol.
Keep up the amazing work, I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say. We all love this, you guys, and all the delicious Jank.

Somehow this was even cooler than your usual fare, and that's saying something. Great edit pacing and audio recording, think you really hit your technical stride with this one. The only minor nitpicks that come to mind is that sometimes you have the demon speaking over the players, and John gets a little whisper'y sometimes, but this is seriously minor stuff. Plus the costumes are to die for. Lovely stuff all around.
I just have to say I love this channel and everything you guys put out. Please keep creating, your content is fun and original.

Another great episode. So much better than all the other magic shows on TH-cam simply because it has a THEME and a STORYLINE
Came here from commanders quarters and I really enjoyed the episode. I spent the entire time rooting for the Odric deck but I was loving Gitrogs interaction and how it all went together so well
After being introduced to QFtJL and John through Cardboard Command, i finally got to watching some of the back content. So far, i've really enjoyed catching up on the demon lore. Bonus points for the easter egg/hidden message in the already "subliminal message" at the end there... well played torture victims, well played... but no i won't be fulfilling your request for assistance ;-) After all, how could i possibly deprive all of the these depraved youtube viewers their pleasure from watching others suffer or my own perverse excitement of living vicariously through Joe's enjoyment of the dungeon?! Great content so far, really looking forward to catching up on the rest of the seasons! 💙🌭

The costumes on set with the commanders really brought this together. My only regret is that we didn't get Doran as a Commander, I really wanted to see a Tree costume.

the problem is you need like an eldrazi titan to ensure the loop doesnt kill your cause you can draw like gaeas blessing
