I had the VHS as a kid. One of my absolute favorites to watch... man so many memories. I'm 27 now and it feels like just yesterday my mom was making me cup noodle soup or a sandwich and this was playing on the tv.
When I was a very young child I watched this a couple of times, over the years I forgot about it but once in a while I'd have these thoughts about a cartoon with dragons that hid, finding it tonight has made me very happy. I've shared a peace of my childhood on to my kids thanks to you for having it.
Same happened to me I'm 23 years old and through the the years a couple of times I've thought about a girl finding a dragon. And I just now found it! Tears or happiness and memories 💜💜

Used to watch this all the time as a little kid, there was just something about it! I remembered very specific details about the cave and the dragon like the dripping meats on the ceiling, but nothing else until I rewatched it with with my son tonight. Brought back so many memories :)

there's something so reassuring and softening about watching these old Lacewood Productions specials. Between the Narrations, the incidental background music, the genuine innocence/faith of the characters, and the fuzzy, faraway quality of the audio and video due to VHS degradation, it's like a trip back to a saturday afternoon in the 1990s where your biggest worry was writing a report for president's day or remembering to reload the dishwasher/fold the clothes in your room before your parents got home from work.
I remember watching this vhs in my bedroom when we moved into our fiest house. The movers were moving everything into the house and my mom set up a little corner for me with a body pillow on the ground and a little tv and vcr. I love that memory ❤️
i was so little when i saw this Vhs cassette at my grand -mas house and now putting it for my son after years of trying to remember the tittle of the movie and looking for it... finally found it after about 10 years of searching it . Plus i just realized that Leslie nelson narrated this cartoon NEAT :P :)
im in the US but when i was in Mexico i think they passed this in canal 5, and ive been trying to find it for many years, and today in 2018, at 22 years old, i found it, now to find it in Spanish!!

@@spencermccarthy5157 I go by something my dad once told me. As long as no one has 100% undeniable proof something never existed, there is a chance it did. Otherwise how did it become so popular and well known? The chance Dragons existed is possible and in my opinion, as with my main post, We as humans forgot how to find them. And so they hide where we never think to look because it's safer that way.

The final segment caught me off-guard and the end brought me to tears.

That was a great little animated short. I wish I had known about this when I was growing up. I love dragons, and this is a beautiful story.
