Young Green Rabutan or Nephelium Lappaceum Fruit and tree in Sri Lanka

Rabutan is a popular fruit that is grown in most parts of Asia but can be found all around the international market during the rabutan season (video shows the young version of a local rabutan variety). Grown heavily in Indonesia and Malaysia. Rabutan fruit is also grown in India, Thailand, Sri Lanka and Philippines. Rabutan is alao grown in small quantities in countries like Colombia,Ecuador, Honduras, Cuba, Costa Rica, Trinidad and parts of east africa as well.
Many varieties of Rabutan exists. The rabutans are yellow or red once fully ripen. Very juicy and tasty fruit.
