Always liked the Farmall Cub. My grandfather had to tractors at the time when he passed. My cousin got the Farmall cub and eventually I ended up with the Allis Chalmers that's on my profile picture. I was too big for the Farmall. My knees kept hitting the wheel. I keep that picture on there as a constant reminder that I got to get it running. So close. You've got a grin ear-to-ear when you're on that tractor.
My favorite channel on youtube! You bring me so much peace watching Danny on the Farmall with that wonderful soothing music. Thank you both Wanda and Danny! Much Love to all.....💖💖💖
Good morning, Danny and Wanda! You all are a wonderful inspiration and a blessing to the community of gardeners and homesteaders! The motto of the day: Make hay while the sun shines!
Danny....you DO HELP people to learn and to figure things out. You Teach without any selfish motive that l can detect....garden is looking great....God bless from the Ozarks. Ps. 143:8 ''Cause me to hear......cause me to know.....'' 💕
Enjoyable watching Danny driving his little farm all in the garden. Winds, you have to be happy seeing him so content playing on his toy. God has truest blessed y’all and I’m sure He will continue.💕
Hey Danny and Wanda. I very much appreciate what your sharing. You both stay on top of what needs to be done whether picking beans, other produce or plowing in the gardens. Plants don't wait. When it's ready it's ready. Your wisdom and knowledge from over the years is so valuable. Thank you! Blessings to you both.
You right, sometimes I’ve thought I could wait in garden ,and do something else then it was day or two before I started to pull the veggies. But I’ve now staying in front of it all. I’m on top of it now doing a better job .
Good morning Danny and Wanda. One of the first crops I learned how to grow, harvest and freeze was English peas from you and Wanda. My grandkids love them. A big difference to canned, store bought tasteless peas.
Good Morning, hope all is well. Busy busy busy. I've wrote down when I planted what so I can schedule my days off at work to harvest and can. Plus I have to plan on when I can pick berries , the blackberries & raspberries are very heavy this year. Hopefully the will have a good size to them. Thank you for all you all do.
Morning! I'm battling white flies. A crop duster was dusting fertilizer next door in a corn field on a windy day . I was in my green house it flew over my property and It dumped fertilizer all in my yard. I saw on my phone white flies love nitrogen fertilizer. Never had them before. There in my green house and outside in my garden. God bless and Much love.✝️💖
I love that barn! We have that problem. My husband wants me to wait for him. He works full time. Some days it’s 10 hours per day with an hour drive time. This year, I’m just doing it! Because the garden can’t wait!
I got out in the garden early morning today and harvested our first lettuce from a Greenstalk tower. I only harvested 7 of the pots and got 4 one gallon bags. Got it cleaned up and it's nice and crispy now. Be out picking more Salads tomorrow.
Good morning brothers and sisters. Another good video Danny an Wanda. Ya know my Okra is lagging behind this year too... Hey wanted to tell y'all i liked the new music in this one too. God bless
This is off-topic..a bit...but just watched a CSPAN video by Victor Davis Hanson, talking about his book ''The Land Was Everything, Letters From An American Farmer''.
Thank you for all you do Danny and Wanda. May God continue to bless you, provide and protect you. Have a great Memorial Day and enjoy time with family and friends. Love watching your channel and hearing your advice and research.
Good Morning!! It all makes sense, since every plant, including roses and other flowers and herbs need to be trimmed and harvested frequently in order to get more flowers and more growth. Great Info.
It’s amazing the difference in people’s preferences. I don’t ever want a bean that doesn’t have bean seeds in the pod. We love white half runners up here in the foothills of SC.
Danny talking about picking corn and processing it in small batches makes me think that if people don't have a lot of time to dedicate to the harvest of their garden, they will need to stagger the planting so not all the crop comes ready at once. I guess said another way, plan your planting by the time it takes the plant to mature and how much you can harvest at once. You may not want the whole garden to become ready at once.
Sweet! You are inspiring me to get up earlier and go out in the garden first thing. Youngsang Cho says the same thing. First light, anther farmer i knew, standing in the field with his tractor running, waiting until he could see.
There's ALWAYS something you can be doing in the garden to improve it everyday. All you really have to do is look hard enough. Just planting and watering isn't going to get you much, unless you tend it like it needs to be tended.
And I just think you guys are wonderful people I've so enjoyed watching your videos thank you immensely for your education on everything may God bless you
Good morning and thx for the work you guys put in for us viewers Early and Often! Same here on okra. Cool mornings and sweltering afternoons. Secondly, I can't believe I paid $4 (with tax) for a head of iceberg lettuce at Sav-a-lot. (too hot and no alternatives) That hurts!
Im fixing up a Cub loboy 71ish bought it thinking it would need new paint 😂 iv rebuilt almost everything. Will make getting the old girl running again even more fun
Good morning, Danny & Wanda. Love getting out in early morning to work before it gets hot. Sure envy you with your good soil and ability to work it with the Cub. I have a couple of questions for you this morning. 1. I didn't know Blue Lake beans could be saved. Aren't they a hybrid? Are the other popular varieties able to be saved for seed also? 2. Have you tried other varieties of bush beans that are not so common? I did my own field test years ago with all the popular varieties of beans that I could find in the little packets in the hardware, feed stores, etc. I found one that I had never heard of called "Derby". They were all planted the same day and grew in identical conditions. Of course, those packets only had a few seeds, so I had only short rows of 5 different varieties. The Derby was by far the winner in production and pickability. I had never experienced such healthy plants. The leaves were thick(almost leathery) and dark green. They produced and produced and produced. Made me wonder why they were such a secret that I had to accidently find and try them. Do you have any experience with this variety? They were our only been for the following years until my wife's passing. Looking forward to your answers. Thanks in advance.
Growing up in a family of American Farmers is an education that can not be obtained any other way. No matter how much money you throw at it the understanding that comes from waking up each morning observing conditions and understanding what needs to happen And the best way to get it done makes America rich. Your pockets might not be full of money because their half full of dirt but you eat well, you live healthy and your closeness to Mother Nature brings harmony and contentment
Hi Danny and Wanda! Thank you for sharing your wisdom with us! And your seeds. LOL I grew my first Cherokee Tan pumpkins last year from seeds I got from you two. And I LOVE how vigorous they are and how well they store! Can you tell me how you know when your garlic is ready to harvest? I feel like I've always harvested too soon because I've been going by the leaves turning yellow are the sign. Thanks again! ~ Stephanie
@@DeepSouthHomestead Thank you so much! I have been cutting the scapes off. I didn't know about the calcium nitrate though. I will be getting some soon. ~ Stephanie
Guess what.. I got a poor stand on my green beans I bought at Walmart. Just have a small garden. No tractor. For me it’s just a pass time but still would like to see results.

Good morning, I’ve been looking for a video on sowing a collard bed for transplanting for a fall harvest. Kind of like farmers use to do tobacco beds years ago before they went to greenhouses. I believe it would make y’all a good video for TH-cam. I’ve not been able to find one
Good morning y'all. I just want to say thank you for all the information that you have educated me on over the last six months. I have been a student of yours for quite some time and have enjoyed each class lesson and will make application to most of it. I highly enjoyed your videos just wonderful. Danny could you please tell me how or where I could find those spring copper coils at to buy?
Danny, I have a Massey ferguson 165. It's a 60 horse tractor. If I wanted to set my rows 40 inches apart like you did on your beans, how wide should my back tires be on my tractor?
Hello Danny, I heard you say on a tomato video you added magnesium to the planting hole, my question is what kind of magnesium is this? Is it a fertilizer or something else?
