@@MycopathOfficial i recorded my bass through a compressor pedal straight into my audio interface (scarlett focusrite) and using an amp simulator in GarageBand. I noticed that new strings really make a difference... These are about 4 months old but with newer strings you can get a much brighter sound

Pretty badass, means you're playing the song just right because I couldn't tell the difference. And yes, I agree with the strings, a new set makes a huge difference. Which type of strings do you use?
