Is it possible to install a sprag clutch backwards? What way should it spin freely and what way should it lock up? I have a vid to show you if possible.
@@oznazdreg i seen your post on the UK group, I'm not really sure about the sprag clutch stuff, I know when I bought my bike, it was worn so bad that it would only engage in certain spots, so you'd be cranking, then the starter would just spin, and you'd have to put it in gear and roll it forward in order to turn it to a spot that wasn't worn. Id have it looked at by someone who knows the bike. Did it start when you bought it?
@@Foredore no the starter was dead. I took a chance, it was in great condition. The sprag does lock in one direction, however the starter drives it in the direction it doesn’t lock in. I’m starting to think I rebuilt the starter to spin the wrong way. Or the sprags upside down.
Nice hole!
Hay I have problem with the sxv can I add you on messenger?

I’m starting to presume the starters meant to lock the sprag on spin.
