I’m really excited about what the Sooners have on defense. This could be one of the best defenses they’ve had in a very long time. There’s a lot of unknown with offensive line. However, Bill Bedenbough is one of the best o-line coaches in college football, so I can see that unit playing some really good football in the second half of the season.
Very fair take on us Sooners. Thanks for the content! If there is anyone IN THE NATION that can weld together a stout OL from nothing it’s BB. If he isn’t the best OL coach in the nation, he’s not outside the top 3. For comparison - Last year we lost 4 starters and ended up with a perfectly fine OL. This year we supposedly have more talent in that room since the Joe Moore winning OL in 2018, just all unproven. We all have faith BB’s ability to cultivate that talent into top level play on the field, and honestly, his contribution to our success is very underrated. OL is possibly the only position group at which we have not had ANY trips or stumbles over the past 3-4 years and his coaching has thus been the pillar that stopped the transition between Riley and Venables to from being a total disaster.
Oklahoma has the most returning production on the defensive side of the ball in the SEC at 79%. People will be surprised at the defense we roll out this year.
OU has a couple of under looked things in their favor. And no one is thinking about those. 1. The OL coach is the best in the business. 2. Everyone is wanting to discount, the OL. (Understandably so) 3. Everyone, including all of us OU fans. Will know after the Tennessee game. Just what we have. 4. OU will have till the Tennessee game to, iron out the wrinkles. On both sides of the ball. That being said, don’t underestimate the OC. He knows what it takes. He was on the National Championship team here.

I never seen BB put out a bad OL. OKLAHOMA have a few young Dimonds on the Line. BOOMER!
SOONER!!!!
A lot of 3 year players that just haven’t got their chance yet and we got a few in the portal. We will fine, like you said BB knows what he’s doing!
I'm not worried about the starting OL, I'm worried about the depth.

Good analysis.
Wish you covered Alley's scheme and fit
OL will be just fine under BB tutelage "Boomer Sooners Baby "
Excellent analysis of OU's D! Thank you, Boomer!
If you keep pumping out OU content you got a subscriber in me! Boomer!
Zac Alley is the Mini me of Brent Venables is what players and others are saying.
Interesting to see if OU’s spring game will be televised on ESPN this year.
It is on ESPN+
Woah! First time I've ever seen someone with the name Blayne spelled the same way as my name!
Zach Alley allows Venables to be a true HC/CEO. He can turn loose of the defense and trust Zach.
You got it down bud.
That little dig at Lincoln (and yes I know he hired a new DC, but will remain to be seen how it works out).
Oklahoma will put the sec on notice all season long.
BOOMER!
