@@mdroz2754 hell yeah it is & i saw it on june 21 2002 here in indiana at conseco fieldhouse!!! i even saw her sound check & my dad got me backstage passes! :D a few weeks b4 the show i got a card from her staff in the mail thanking me 4 writing letters 2 her & it said i could have a chance 2 meet her b4 the show!!! but i didnt get 2 :( there was a contest where a fan could win a life size pepsi standup of her & my dad got me one! i still have it but idk where it is. i wanted 2 get her a gift so i bought her a white bear with a red ribbon around its neck. after the sound check they handed out signed pictures of her & i got one! i still have it in my room. im gonna keep it 4 the rest of my life! i remember i kept asking my dad if she was gonna cancel it. now i know he was just tired of me asking but he told me if i did one more time he was gonna call her people & tell them 2. i thought he was serious so i stopped. he warned me the show wouldnt start right away & there were gonna be opening acts. i dont remember who they were but they sucked & i booed them. it took 4ever 2 start & i was sooooo impatient. but at 9:15 it finally did. i made a sign 4 the show & wrote “i love britney” on it. i was dying 2 get a shirt at the show but my dad thought the tickets were expensive enough & said no. i was sooooo pissed but i kinda got over it when the show started. after the show i thought i heard im a slave 4 u when we were leaving so i stopped him, listened & i did. somebody was listening 2 it in their car. it was the best night of my life & i’ll never ever forget it. i was seven & she was my first concert! my old friend’s mom got me a shirt in 2006. i just wish i met her :( now im 26 & i still love her & always will! go britney!!!
How things have changed. She had so much fun and was so chill. Now she’s very held back and her words are calculated. But we know why, so it’s not her fault. Even the fact that she sang most of this show live.
I love this interviewer. He's cute :) Seeing Britney like this really makes me marvel at how people thought it was a smart idea to control her every move in order to push her to make money. She was clearly in her element and did her best work when given freedom to express, collaborate and be involved with everything. She also bought her mom and brother a place to live. I think the team didn't care so much for her best work, just to control her and make money. I think they were scared when she had kids that she just didn't want to work as much (though I know she was struggling as well). I hope she gets back to being this person, which I'm sure she still is deep down, even if it takes time ♡
