Top interview. Really enjoy listening to this nerd/technical approach towards the game trying to understand every aspect from the engine, to your movement/strengths/weaknesses, strategies/tactics, to your opponent, etc. Quake live still really needs this, because many players have 'hit the proverbial wall' of progress and find themselves spending too much time 'competitively' 'playing for fun'. I'm one of these players, but that means harder things like timing should also become second-nature

The most intresting interview in a long time that really show case the level of averness in fps-esport that isnt really exsloted yet, this bring the greatest point of quake and the complexity of it. quake deservers a spot in esport history and allso not to get forgoten by newer generations sins it potenichial isnt reatched yet.

A small correction you don't take -EV spots in cash game poker... -EV is -EV but in tournament poker sometimes taking -cEV spots can be +$EV.

Loved this discussion as I have been competitive in both gaming and poker, so can relate to a lot of the discussion. My biggest concern is QW and Quake Live are...for FPS players unbeatable in terms of competition/spectator, the problem is both games are ancient. We need to get a developer interested in developing a competitive fps similar to quake/ut from the ground up like blizzard have done with Star Craft or others have with morbas like League of legends.

actually i'd like to hear more analysis during faceit cups rather than just casting what's hapening on the screen. Just like in Fraze's commentary videos - those are just perfect.

Thorin just loves to hear his own voice. Please, learn how to ask a question. You almost talk as much as DDK. A question is MAX 30 sec. There is no way to remember all that you say and the one you interview end up not listening when trying to focus on what you've said so far.
