ddk is such a nice and great guy
DDK, man, what a gamer
This was a really good interview. DDK is becoming my favorite esports figure superfast.
Inspirational. I could listen to players talk about these subjects all day.
I really enjoy ddk rambling. The only human I feel that way toward. He is, politely genius
Top interview. Really enjoy listening to this nerd/technical approach towards the game trying to understand every aspect from the engine, to your movement/strengths/weaknesses, strategies/tactics, to your opponent, etc. Quake live still really needs this, because many players have 'hit the proverbial wall' of progress and find themselves spending too much time 'competitively' 'playing for fun'. I'm one of these players, but that means harder things like timing should also become second-nature
Actually a terrific video. Very important knowledge for those who want to improve at ANY game.
Really interesting, he is a good speaker and makes very interesting points. Thanks for the interview, really enjoyed it
The most intresting interview in a long time that really show case the level of averness in fps-esport that isnt really exsloted yet, this bring the greatest point of quake and the complexity of it. quake deservers a spot in esport history and allso not to get forgoten by newer generations sins it potenichial isnt reatched yet.
Incredible interview. Ddk the legend. The myth. ;)
In a few years, some guy known as James Bardolph will ask you "what the hell is going on dan?"
Amazing video.
Brilliant interview
Really interesting interview.. I was in the same team as DDK (playing a totally different game), awesome guy glad to see he's still in eSports. :)
good interview and good interviewee
gotta love ddk!
awesome questions
James "2GD" Harding is working on developing a game called Reborn to do just that. It'll probably be a year or two before any substantial content is released though.
probably a year or two :'D
@@sleuwi You got that right :P
A small correction you don't take -EV spots in cash game poker... -EV is -EV but in tournament poker sometimes taking -cEV spots can be +$EV.
Fucking amazing interview
@start: nod nod nod nod nod nod nod
1:03:16 @Mike Goldberg @Joe Rogan
Wish he didn’t leave us a really good caster
Loved this discussion as I have been competitive in both gaming and poker, so can relate to a lot of the discussion. My biggest concern is QW and Quake Live are...for FPS players unbeatable in terms of competition/spectator, the problem is both games are ancient. We need to get a developer interested in developing a competitive fps similar to quake/ut from the ground up like blizzard have done with Star Craft or others have with morbas like League of legends.
now we have diabotical :D
@@kiiturii And it's dead already lol
actually i'd like to hear more analysis during faceit cups rather than just casting what's hapening on the screen. Just like in Fraze's commentary videos - those are just perfect.
HELL YEAH! Quake rulsz
Play more Quakeworld :)
i like the background, very professional to record the interview in a closet
hear hear
It's called Game Theory it's been around for a lot of years.
threewave ctf>all ;p
This describes HuK with great talent but inferior strategic thinking.
nice rubbish horder bro
Thorin just loves to hear his own voice. Please, learn how to ask a question. You almost talk as much as DDK. A question is MAX 30 sec. There is no way to remember all that you say and the one you interview end up not listening when trying to focus on what you've said so far.
