I was there all 3 days, damn was I SUPER hyped since it was my first con period! So I have a few keynotes. From my home in the Valley, it was about a 1 hour drive, so I returned home after Friday's activities then returned with my brother on Saturday and stayed at the Holiday Inn for one night just to be able to stay for the night events until they ended at 1am (shout out to DJ Goofy. He's was absolutely insane with his mixes!). It was pretty cozy. Nothing really too special. Just your average Holiday Inn. Friday's reg line, on the other hand, was... Something. Lol. I think I spent around😊 2 1/2 hours in line, but time just flew by from how excited I was (also it helped that there was a guy with a stereo in line just playing random songs to keep the mood up)! Fun little fact about the location, a large mall known the Ontario Mill is only like 10 minutes away and there are TONS of restaurants (including the only Rainforest Cafe in California where me and my bro went to eat).
That you so much for all these keynotes!! really glad to hear you and your brother were so hyped and had a great time at the con. Love the point on the Ontario Mill with having a ton of restaurants. I will have to check that out next time :3
AFC was my first con!! It was honestly such a fun time, I was there the whole weekend with a friend and we had a blast - I felt like the dealer’s den and the pool room were the most enjoyable things for me personally, since I’m not a heavy party person, but even things like the fursuit walks or seeing all sorts of cool people are super fun too! I’ll definitely be back next year for AFC (without suit probably), I’d love to make a few friends while I’m there next time! ^^
Making new friends is the best! Happy to hear you had a great experience . The walking around vibing with everyone definitely was a big plus for the con :3
Ever since i went to GSFC which was my first furcon and when I heard AFC coming to Ontario Ca mind you I am from Long Beach I had fun went with my best friend we had the best time at AFC met new fur friends I loved it I may consider going again next year for a three day weekend
I havent been to GSFC yet myself but be cool to hit it up. Its great to hear you and your friends had a great time at AFC! I definitely will go next year and for the whole weekend :3
I went there on Saturday and was able to get a Chikn Nuggit print, which I have framed in my room. That was like my main thing for why i wanted to go to the convention. It was also my first ever convention (let alone a furry one) and I got a lot of cool stuff. It was a blast!!
I was so excited that there was a convention somewhat near me but I heard about it just 1 day before it happened and I have no money so I couldn't go :( maybe next year

First time at AFC, but not new to general furry cons! Sadly I can only go to SoCal ones, so to see it exist AND out of a quinkiedink is something NOT on my 2024 bingo! Yea, I went to AFC on my day of from work, and boy its magical. Oh and scored plenty of Neopets fan merch, which was my highlight! For dinner, I and a friend walked to In-N-Out, which all of us are in 2/4s partial or full on kemonomimi/cat ears!
Yeah this one was pretty cool I went there for a day. It was actually my first furry convention. It was pretty fun I made a lot of new friends and everything. It was pretty cool. I did meet James. Bought a lot of stuff. It would be cool if I saw you there but maybe next time. But at least it was pretty fun. Can't wait for another one pretty soon I guess.
I didn't get the chance to go this year sadly! I know Rubix had been talking for a while about AFC as they got things prepped. Knowing Rubix, he only looks to improve so I am certain future AFCs will adapt. I'm fairly certain too that they had major budget constraints as a first-year convention is entirely out of pocket(to a degree) coupled with less-than-ideal venue contracts. As the convention ages, the contracts should certainly be better. Glad you had a great time Coda!
I really like your content and I think your a really good furry content creator! I dont know how often you get this but from people, I just got to say it, your voice sounds really close to The Roundtable guy's voice

Admittedly your video from this year is one of the reasons that I decided to try to go next year, and I'm looking forward to the Maid Cafe
Maid cafe there is really awesome so you will enjoy it and the con overall! I dont know if ill be able to do NFC this time due to wanting to support JMOF (furry con in japan)
