Update: I've been informed that the Kickstarter will be launching on the 5th of May now. Update on pricing: Super Early Bird £460 (limited to the first 58 units per colour). Early Bird £490 (limited to 100 units Per colour).
It a nice dress watch with a slim case, I quite like it. I'm a sucker for blued hands anyway. But I think it might wear a little large being a 41 mm watch. 39 mm would be the ideal case size imho.
You mentioned it in the review and personally i do think 41mm is a tad too big for a dress watch , also not a fan of the hands colour on the salmon dial , they look great on the white dial just don't think they match well on the Salmon dial -any idea at how much it'll cost ?
Hi Alan, thank you for your interest. The preorder pricing is a follow: SuperEarlyBird 460£( limited to the first 58 units), EarlyBird £490(limited to 100 units)
Outstanding review James. I think it is a gorgeous watch with a great movement, beautiful dial and very good finishing. I wish it was a bit smaller, and that the salmon color a little less pink. That said I very much like it. The super early bird at US $640 (approx) is not terrible, but in a territory where there are several other choices.... thank you again for your great work. Cheers
It's interesting and attractive, though I am desperate for a salmon dial with a similar shade to the Mont blanc heritage monopusher or the Baltic worn and wound Bi-compax. I really love that shade of pink . This is slightly too bold of a salmon colour and for me it wouldn't work as a business cas'/smart cas' weekend look which is what I envisage if for. I wonder how it would look with a very dark navy strap to complement the hands? ... congrats on stacking up the subscribers
Beautiful pattern on the dial. If they made the inner circle of the dial a lighter salmon colour, and left the outer circle with the indices the same colour, the watch would "pop" so much more added contrast 😍
great hands/dial color combo! I do think a few mm smaller, maybe 38mm, would let the watch speak for itself/be a bit more understated, if you could call it that.
Interesting watch - however this color (dial, strap and hands) variant- combo is a bit too distracting and polarizing for me .. a bit too much circus/carnival look.
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR I did see those other color options. But without the unusual splash of color (i.e. one splash of color like the salmon dial) the others look kind of generic ... maybe it is just me but there is that fine line between innovative, bold and avante gard and over the top ... this seems to fall on with either side but not in that sweet spot. Again personal taste and opinion - goes nothing against build quality or value for money.
I think there is a real gap in the market for nice salmon dials...this is maybe a bit too pink. Perfect colour would be the Seiko sarb in salmon. Good review. Watch does look well finished
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR I'm not a fan of the colour, but generally not a dress watch person, & really not keen date complications, tho 6 o'clock date is OK. Overall just doesn't float my boat, tho I'd like to see a British company succeed, hopefully they will tempt me with their next offering. Just coz I didn't like the watch doesn't mean I didn't like your review - you did a good job as usual, appreciate your time and effort. Cheers 👍🏻
Nice looking watch and very original dial pattern, I would have chosen the one you got as well 😁. Why didn't you try your real salmon strap on it, that would have been a treat 🤤

If it didn't have a date it would be much nicer. I think having a date is something that served it's function back in the day but nowadays there's no need for it, just detracts from the dial and the dress watch vibe going on.

If you've got 7" wrist or above you'll be fine.
Nice looking watch! Love the colour and texture of the dial.
Cool isn't if?

It wears well on my 7" wrist. The lug to lug is the important measurement really.

Salmon dial looks superb. A bold choice that's paid off. Great review thanks. Ps the white dial looks superb as well
I completely agree. Thanks.

Tbh it reminds me of an Indian frankenwatch [I have seen some pretty ones]
Is that because of the colour? As they do have more subtle dial colours too.
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR Partly I reckon .I've had some gorgeous frankenwatches btw
Stunning in the sun. Beautiful watch.
Isn't it just.

Nice watch. I'd rather have a no-date if it's not going to be framed
Perhaps they could add that as a stretch goal.
A date frame would make this outstanding in looks
A thin one similar to the circle around the centre section would look good.
I can almost see a epicure wearing this watch. It looks delicious! LOVE it.
Pretty cool isn't it?

I think they should move thd logo to replace the 12 o clock index. Love the pink. Pale azure blue would be cool.
Yeah that could be good. Or just have it and not the text as well.
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR indeed.
Very nice 👍. I believe it would look nice on a blue alligator strap!
Erm... I like the box.🤣
Cheers 👍🏻

Beautiful watch, don't like the case back😬 but what an awesome colour 😊
It's definitely all about that dial.
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR absolutely 😃
Feel like this would be perfect in the sun...too bad we live in the UK
I managed to get some video of it outside and some pictures though.
I think that dress watches should have more angles in the case
it ok not for me like the colour the strap was just a little weird on the sizing great review but how much is it going to be will be the main factor

Miami Vice!
Yeah it is a bit.
Nice enough watch but too much packaging - Royal Ebony Macassar box is unnecessary and will end up at the back of a drawer
Salmon and green should never be seen, together. Maybe its just me but......no.
Fair enough 😆
Looks cheap way overpriced 79.99 maybe.
