Hello, my lovelies! Here’s a new piece called ‘Rubies’
Blood. Nobody tells you how mesmerising the colour is when the moonlight falls upon it. It glistens with myriad of tiny stars across its ruby surface. Gooey, it clings to your skin, filling every crevice, every pore, as if it wants to get back where it belongs - in.
If it were up to me, I’d never wash it off. It seems like the water agrees with me: it’s reluctant to do its job well. Such a pity, life is so much better with some colour in it.
*_Tell me, if you were a detective, how would you go about catching a murderer?_*
P.S. If you enjoy this video/story, you might also like these ones from my Haunted London series:

a cliche answer, but try thinking like a murderer
@@KateVach9999It is nevertheless a good answer. To add on it I would say that you would need to think what would they have to gain from wanting someone dead. This way you could narrow down your list of suspects.
did you write that yourself @RegnumUmbrae?
We need a detective story where Sherlock Holmes and Hercule Poirot join forces to solve the greatest crime of all times. 🥸🕵♀🕵♀
And have a short, fiery "Bromance"
No - Sherlock Holmes IS Hercules❤
@@dgexpressllc7450 How is Sherlock Holmes Hercules? 🙄
@@phillipproussier3723I think it was supposed to be a mash up of the names. Although I agree a crossover between the two would be fantastic.
@@ZonaiHero-ul5nm Hercules is actually a mythological figure in Greek mythology. So, I am not sure that he/she meant the name as a mash up of the names of two detectives.
I’m American and I’ve loved London since 2015, I was 11 years old. Still one of my favorite cities in the world. I’ve never been there in person but there’s something beautiful about this city to me. Great video my friend!! 😁😁♥️♥️♥️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
'Tis a place where all the dark melancholics unite 🖤 🫂
the bird enduring the rain like if it was nothing harmful for it
A cup of tea and a moody story in a novel would be perfect right now💐thank you for these presentations
And a premium cigar!
Currently playing this while doing house chores. It makes everything better. Thank you so much 😊
happy to help! :)
lol, ''where did that pile of dust go while I was sweeping''
Likewise ☺️
Here's a paragraph I wrote while listening to this - I just really like it and it's short and sweet:
It creaked as if welcoming her to grasp its handle and pull it drearily open, feeling the cold of the metal beams across its wood that still seemed never to rust despite years of rain and wind lashing it. And it knew her. It knew that she needed only a false light - only a match to tempt her toward the single lantern in the forest full of bulging roots and trees phlegmatic and towering. Her hands grasped the handle and pushed it open a little before stepping out into the torrents of unrelenting rainfall like footsteps outside a bedroom that never entered. They fell upon her with a taunting grace and a wink that was full of malice and benevolence; like crows and doves falling to their peril and gracefully dancing beneath a sky that willed them not to perish to the harsh whisper of the ground as their wings once flourishing began to flutter and fail like the rugged breaths of the sufferer. They leaned on her but she simply squirmed away, the crows landing and collecting in limp, almost inert corpses around her tormented soul - the doves all turned to ash and crumbled around her, eyes beseeching and yet dull, dying to the cold hands of the stone path against their throat that simply tossed the ashes over the ground, drowning out the melancholy with grief that cut like the knife of a murderer, and creating lakes that drowned out screams of malady and torment.
very nice, thank you for sharing!
That was beautiful yet horrifying
"..I feel it right down to my bones but suddenly I can't breathe, my body dissolves, and I remain there, motionless, in front of those three fountains." Edwyn approached the window looking at the square below him which was shining under a light rain.
"A mistery." said Gregory.
"No, no, it was more like a dream, a vision!"
"An omen!" Louis said as he walked in the door. He waved the evening newspaper in the air and dropped it on Gregory's lap.
“They just announced what this year's destination will be.”
Gregory's eyes widened and he opened the newspaper in excitement.
"Where, where? Where will they do it?!"
Luis gave him a small pat on the back of the head.
"Stupid, do you think they write it like that, in plain sight, right on the first page?"
"So..Where..?"
"Page 14, seventh line, then continues with 3, 8, 9 and 2."
Seeing Gregory more and more awkward, Louis took up the newspaper and with his finger indicated the correct passages between the lines that generated the long-awaited information:
THE TROIT FOUNTAINS, BRIMAN HOUSE
"But it's here, right here at the college." Edwyn said, incredulous.
"Exactly. As I was telling you, an omen."
You've had brief glimpses of higher, purer thoughts, a brush with an angel while your eyes were closed. And yet all around you is morbidity, death, decay -- and now murder -- all seemingly mocking life and regeneration, not to mention the law -- but this too has strangely gained a hint of the sublime.
This is such an impressive view! I love the dark atmosphere, the lonely street light, melancholy... So beautiful. Love your London series 🖤
Same; super spooky and sad but unnerving in the best way (:
much appreciated!
Beautiful rain ambience and music harmonizing with the visuals creates a hauntingly melancholy atmosphere, perfect for lovers of Victorian Literature. Love this work ♡
Thank you so much, I'm glad you like it!
Finally, some peace and tranquility. Something in me just want to stand under cold rain for hours. Thanatos, I presume
Perfect ambience to read George Orwell's 1984.
Listening to this while reading Sherlock Holmes "the valley of fear" it makes me feel like I'm in that story :) ty
that's a really neat adventure, such a murder mystery there!
Reading and listening to all of the incredible music you post takes the books I’m reading to another level. I can get truly lost. Thank you for sharing your art!

i needed something to read James Carnac's "The Autobiography of Jack the Ripper" to. this is perfect. thank you thank you thank you! melancholy, daunting, foreboding--the music, the rain, the atmosphere. it makes me want to read the Ripley series, too. i love getting lost in atmospheres like this that make me dread existing in apprehensive loneliness. something unsettling weighing my heart. this is a masterpiece and totally up my alleyway
It is very good for the flow of my detective story. If I finish my book, I will definitely recommend this page to my readers.
I'm glad you find it useful! Good luck with your story!
Super ⚡️
Классно🖤🖤🖤
Buenas noches amigos . Llueve muy fuerte afuera, no salgan de la casa.😊😊😊😊😊
i love the mysteriousness of it!
also the rain is perfect. sometimes ambience rain sounds like chicken frying🍗 and it's really hard to find rain that
doesn't but this is just👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
thank u soo much
This music is basically what living life when you're single can really be foretold as. It's depressing, it's empty, and it never fills the void of something missing in your life that you wish of wanting to have all for yourself 😞 I hate to always feel blue when living single, and maybe just listening to relaxing blues and jazz music helps me think deeper into becoming more of a maturer person. God I need me a woman, and badly.
Half of the views are just me. This is a masterpiece 👍
major sherlock holmes/oliver twist vibes here and im loving it
Feels like Baker's Street
100% Baker Street vibes.
Wow 🖤
la bendita lluvia ojala asi durara lloviendo mucho tiempo en todos los lugsres que padecen de sequia
Lovely ambiance, but I just want to remark on how I find the little pigeon on the rail charming.
Listening to "Poirot Investigates" with this in the background.
Listening to this while in school, helps me work ! This is amazing !! ❤
Nice one: this reminds me I wanted to get some atmospheric winter footage of Westminster, the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben before I head out of the country for Christmas. Also there are some parts of London around Christmas that are literally like the London of Dickens' time: Mayfair, Bond Street and Trafalgar Square. There is even the Burlington Arcade in Mayfair that is still patrolled by the oldest police service in London, complete with top hats, tunics and capes.
the fact that im literally reading Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde to this pov/music
perfect for kafka thank u
Definitely thinking of moriarty the patriot rn
My feeling is weird…. As if I lived in this city before, as if I wandered around its roads, this dark and dark weather, I was there.🥺
Im a detective… I’m listening to this at work… it helps :]
Perfectly! I just dream of becoming a detective!
MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORE GORGEOUS!
I need these vibes movies
Thanks
i love london!
that's so quiet 🖤
*Regnum Umbrae* 🧐🤨
Ah, London. Thw city is always thirsty. And Mother Nature feeds her often. Which, to the detective, means you must be quick. Quick to the crime scene. Quick to do the forensics work, before the city thirsts again, before the rain comes, and washes your clues down the drain.
LOTM vibes.
I feel the pain my hate is eternal
1:15 perfect time to cry with this 😞
This reminds me very much of the soundtrack to Layers of Fear 1.
movies/show in this vibe please??!!!
PURRRRFECT FOR WORKING MAGICK OR READING EDGAR ALLEN POE! ^..^
Smile and be polite, or Ill tell the Ripper where you sleep.
Imagine Sherlock solving the jack ripper cases which was the most mysterious case to live till now that we got our answer
This is perfect for the book I'm currently reading! Murder and the Hangman by Irina Shapiro. Thank you!

The music was spoiled by the loud sound of rain
Глубокое растекание.. темпа музыки,что то более глубокое и далёкое увлекло и задержало на просмотре видео.

Just for the stereotype: Are there some INTJ's here?
I'm sure there are many :) love your profile pic, so cute!
@@RegnumUmbrae Thank you :) And I love your channel, it has a comfortable atmosphere
Here.😊
infj
As INTJ here.
The commercials ruined it
Well, Holmes, what do you make of it?
This is a peculiar case, Watson, highly peculiar: no body, no murder weapon, the door is locked from the inside - just a pool of blood in the middle of the floor, almost dry now.
Dashed confounding, what, Holmes?
Indeed, my friend. And my conclusion -
Yes, Holmes?
Is that we have a new enemy to confront. An enemy without a corporal presence.
What - you mean a ghost, Holmes? I thought you didn't believe in such mumbo-jumbo.
Watson, I didn't. Until now...
