  • The Dallas Cowboys trailed by as many as 32 points in the second half despite the final score 48-32. Dak Prescott threw two interceptions, including a pick-six, and is now 2-5 in the playoffs. Despite Mike McCarthy being on the hot seat, Colin Cowherd explains why it is time to have a conversation about Dak and his future. On the other hand, Jordan Love excelled, finishing with 272 pass yards, three touchdowns and a 157.2 passer rating in his first career playoff game. Colin praises Love, explaining why the Green Bay Packers will be successful for years to come with the QB leading the way.

I agree I think Mike McCarthy has to go. But the Dallas Cowboys have one big problem that is not the coach or the QB. It is Jerry Jones, the GM. And that is the curse, the Jerry Jones as GM is the curse. Jerry Jones needs to get a new GM other than the last name Jones, and then hire a quality head coach who will inspire, get more than what the talent says, and use a above-average QB. Spoiler alert, the *Ravens* will also choke as well. Good strategy for Shanahan to rest some of their starters like Purdy and CMC during the Rams game so they will be fresh to take on the Packers in the Divisional round. This is not about winning the most regular season games but about dominating the playoffs and winning Super Bowl LVIII. Go Niners!!!

The cruel irony of the Jerry Jones' Dallas Cowboys is that they will probably not win another SB no matter who's coaching or playing -- but because their #1 problem is _being owned_ by Jerry Jones. The guy bought the team in '89 and made a great hire in Jimmy Johnson...but he interpreted the success that brought about as being due to HIS football aptitude. So now he can't help himself and his micromanaging has led to over a quarter century of playoff futility.

McCarthy was in GB for 13 years. He had Favre and Rodgers and had 1 superbowl appearance. 1!!! he has ALWAYS been terrible at clock management and situational football. He completely wasted Rodger's career. Should have been going to the superbowl every other year for a decade.

Yeah he love some bad games, early but he had good games too. And yes the team criticized him for bad play, but not to the point of saying he was trash. You talking heads that want hot takes said he was trash. Us packer fans didn't judge him after 7 games knowing he was a first year starter

Dak and the cowboys are the same. They have great ability, but something gets in their head and they play afraid, lost, timid. Cant do that in nfl. You have to be nasty mentally, where no team or player or punch to the face can rattle your determination. They gotta know its gonna be a hard fight and theyll have to muster the will to win.

I do think it is Dak issue. Look at Dak feet at the beginning of the game. His feet constant moving, this to me showing his nervous of being sacked or hit. That to me, explain his inaccurate throws or intercepted balls.
Later in the game, his mind is stable. His feet are not moving much. The team is able to score.
Dak needs to calm his mind. I do think Dak needs to work his psychologists to calm his mind
