Please be advised that “Konami said so” that fusion substitutes cannot be used when banished. You can still use it normally from GY to bring out Buster Blader, unfortunately not under Shifter. Had no idea and of course this ruling doesn’t make sense… but… they did say so.
For combo 3, usually its best to do it in the way you showed game 1. However going 1st post side, players can side raigeki/lightning storm, bystials ect. Im not sure if there is a way to play around everything, but what I tend to do is send puppet with 1st grang and search shrouded with lost to mill albaz to gy, then immediately in draw phase activate branded in red to make sanctifire under lost and puppet lock my opponent. It plays around droplet and board breakers, but it plays into bystials on puppet or albaz. The way in video plays around bystials but board breakers could hurt it since cartesia needs to fuze and she can be interrupted.

I honestly didn't understand this guide at all. The first few episodes of this Branded Acedemy series were good, because you explained it in a way a new Branded player like me can follow. And i hoped i can use this series to learn and get somewhat ready to get into competetiv scene. In the later episodes and especially in this one. The viewer needs to know every other possible Deck you could face and this does make it even harder for me to understand this Deck. This creates a very weird paradox for a new Branded player like me who wants to learn the Deck and its Combos to get into the competetiv scene. But the explanation of you requires me to already know it. I hope you understand.
I feel like that's something that is out of the scope for a Branded guide. Understanding what all other decks do is a topic for a whole separate video explaining that, rather than combining it with a Branded guide, which might not fit all players.
@@galzo Understandably. Maybe explaining the combos in a pure vacuum and further explanation against specific Decks in a different Part of the video could make these guides easier to understand for everyone. Again, i am not asking for explanation of what the other Decks do, rather i just wanted to point out that mentioning other Decks and their techs (mid combo) is more confusing than actually helping (at least in my case). Sorry if my feedback wasn't clear enough.

Do we think the new light and darkness dragon dude from ROTA deserves play? It’s a mini chimera you can make with 2 dragons. Lubellion + any dragon in GY banished
It’s an idea which could work, have rindbrum in grave and use it’s effect to summon albaz and steal a tenpai dragon while getting a pop. That’s the basic strategy against tenpai and it can substitute guardian chimera to pop 2 cards as the deck plays enough dragons that red Albion or fusion lubellion summoned probably through branded in red or banishment on the opponents turn can pop on the opponents turn or your turn. Alternatively use branded in white even if that’s kinda an eh card least before
Doesn’t the Buster Blader line not work because not only do Fusion Substitutes not work when banished, but Fusion Parasite can’t be sent off of Branded Fusion since Branded Fusion has to use Albaz as Albaz (thanks Konami) and Fusion Parasite can’t be a fusion material unless it’s replacing a named material?
I’m pretty sure you send Albaz and the parasite to make Lubellion and then shuffle back the Albaz and parasite to make the buster blader. You are correct though it doesn’t work from banished.
@@JMoreTCG in that case you can also use the hex dark sealed fusion as well. It doesn't work under shifter anyways. I think best option under shifter is light and darkness dragonlord

Helps you dodge targeted negation or anything that targets, because on resolution the card is flipped down and cannot be targeted with cards like imperm/veiler/etc. plus it’s a board breaker since face down monsters cannot use their effects since they’re not registered as monsters

Same with hex-sealed fusion cards

Good Morning Teacher🍎
I thought fusion substitutes can’t be used from banished… Versago couldn’t be used to make Dragoon under shifter.
Alts are because “Konami loves us” hehe or “Konami loves our money” you meant
Nice!
Why “Fusion Parasite” and not “The Hex” or “Versago”?
No reason, as long as it’s Dark. Notice that Parasite does have an on field effect, so that might come up while the others don’t.
Why arent you playing the deck with azamina?
You have to use 2 cards only to summon a negate. And the cards don't do a whole lot else for the deck. It's also bad going 2nd
A lot of cards just for 1 negate, it’s not efficient
