This is without a doubt the most frantic insane tripped out psychedelic garage rocker ever
This has to be the best oldschool garage rock song period
Masterpiece!!! 1960`s Psychedelic Garage Rock For Ever!!! One of the most nice rock songs of all times!!!
It's the best , and other progressive rock groups learned from this early punk/psych tune.
When did it come out? Early 1966?
I cant believe this is here, wow, the lead guitar palyer was one of my best friends and lived a couple streets over. I remember when they were recording this stuff. This song was in the juke box in the pool hall in Westiminster! We were amazed, big time!
I totally remember hanging out at the pool hall in Westminster. Lots of memories, class of 67 Westminster High.
What year was it?
My friends early willd child sister had this 45 in mid spring 66, but I'll bet it was recorded in mid late 65! Right or wrong?
@@johnceglick8714 sounds about right
@@xquesmuah I envy you ( in a good way , that you were capable in witnessing/hearing their phenomenal tunes back @ a very historical time line of our life !
@@johnceglick8714 yes I’m old!!
This is great. The lyrics are so effective and minimal and it's all about the the sense of urgency of the guitar careening like a siren and the dude pounding on his bass.
Dave Vanian of the Damned got me to check this track out from an interview he had with Janice long back in 1985.Great Track and Cheers Dave 👍
Love this raw teen punk psych! The real good early psych!
Gänsehaut und die Erinnerung an alte geile Parties 😊😢🎉❤
Amazing tune - love this band & have all their records! Shame these were only active between 1966 & 1967!
I remember first listening to this track on Pebbles Vol 10 back in 1986 . This great song definitely deserved a video clip and it finally got a brilliant one . Thanks again for all the inspired stuff you offer man .
not to play up stereotypes or anything but i'm pretty sure i'll be listening to this song next time i get blazed.
Now, THAT IS psychedelic music. A pure masterpiece! And I love this soooo gorgeous woman at 2:03.
I remember when this was cut and when they played the Gazzari night club. They were not old enough to drink. I remember Jim Foster and his dad. His brother Mike was a good friend of mine in high school.( Westminster ). Too bad they turned down " Born to be Wild. As their producer didn't like the song. Well it became a huge hit.
Wonder WHAT HAPPENED TO THE SONG THEY DID CALLED " FUNNY ".
i LOVED GOING TO THEIR HOUSE AND WATCH THEM REHEARSE IN THE GARAGE.
Steve McCloud that's cool I live in orang county and I love this band
I went to Westminster, class of 67. Only found out about this group recently and LOVE them!
Can't get enough of this awesome masterpiece!
the whole "high in the mid sixties texas" (that's were I remember hearing it) it's brilliant.

What year? How about mid 1966?
Where the footage is taken from ?
Fuckin' A dood!
What movie or footage is this?
I listen to this cause it's the best sounding, but the visuals have nothing to do with the band. It was an exploitation type movie, I forget the name, it always appeared as filler at the end of Something Weird Video tapes. Not a good representation for a band that turned down recording Born to be Wild for their record co. and became a big hit that made alot of money that they missed out on.
It's punk.not psychedelic It have a 70's punk accent too.
Psychedelic goes to the punk
+Sex Pistols i agree. psych from 60s is punk witch will come later
Who cares! The sounds don't deserve feckin barriers, it what ya believe!
Oh yes it is psych! Psych punk but psych for sure! 65-66 era early psych!
@xquesmuah. Martin Eshleman here. Look me up on Facebook.
