La Jolla Tide Pools Quick Guide

If you put “La Jolla Shores Beach” into your gps, it will take you right to the parking lot. There’s no street address for the beach, but it’s San Diego, CA 92037.
Exit the freeway at La Jolla Parkway, turn right on La Jolla Shores Drive, left onto Calle Frescota, then the parking lot will be right along Camino Del Oro.
Once you park, follow the shore north until you pass the Ellen Brown Scripps Memorial Pier.
Make sure you go close to low tide:
