I looooove the fish climbing a tree analogy!! Most of my life I thought I was "dumb" or "stupid" b/c I wasn't able to learn as easily or be as successful in school as my very intelligent, ambitious brother. 20 years later, I finally realized how untrue this actually is. One of us has 3 degrees, on antidepressants & is incredibly unhappy. The other spends every day at home, teaching their kid, writing & soaking in every sec. I wouldn't trade a moment of my life w/my brother's. I only pray that 1 day he finds his real bliss in this life.
