Those that are unfinished are sold to Quilters who would like to finish themselves. I met a woman who has a long arm quilter just for that purpose
The quilts are the prettiest I have ever seen! OMG, the purple quilt!!!

I loved everything about this!!! That this tradition continues on is so wonderful to me. It gives such a sense of history. The quilts were just stunning. I would have eaten a hot dog for you😊😊
Thanks Sara! It was so hectic and busy, but I wanted my viewers to see that and how organized the Amish Re in spite of it! Hot dog sales were brisk!

Hi! Thank you for watching. The Amish Auction barn is located near Cashton, Wisconsin. The Amish hold this large event every Labor Day. Smaller events take place as produce auctions on a monthly basis.

Pappy, I believe the auctioneer was including the quilts in some instances, as part of a bedroom furniture package. Very confusing at best!
