Tommy and Sharon Kerr are two amazing, dedicated, wonderful people. Running a parade cannot possibly be easy much less running that same parade for over 50 years. Hats off to the two of the of them! I'm lucky to have known them for so many years!
Best wishes to Johns and all of the Baltimore Heritage team for a wonderful holiday season!! And thank you so much for these videos, they continue to inform and entertain me every week.
I am always impressed with these 5 minute history videos and this one is on par with all the great info shared with us. Please know you are appreciated and I send my warmest wishes for a great Holiday Season to you all! Blessings to you & thanks for these videos.😊❤
I LOVE the Five Minute Histories! Probably the best thing to come out of the pandemic! I've learned SO much about Baltimore! Thank you! Now for a small clarification..... the Mayor's Christmas parade also didn't happen in 2012... it was canceled due to some snow that year. 😥 Hampden managed to carry on the Christmas spirit that day though, despite the presence of floats, bands, and balloons.🤣
I didn't gp to Poly, but I learned from one who did go to Poly, a good way to break in new books. Now I always perform that process when opening up a new book.
Loved working with Tommy when I was director of the Cambridge-Dorchester County Christmas Parade. For a couple of years the Ocean City, Cambridge, and Baltimore's Christmas Parade got a deal to rent large parade balloons and split the cost so each of our parades saved a significant amount of money on the balloons and helium! GREAT memories!!!
Like others, I so appreciate the Five Minute Histories videos. It's been one of the best ways to learn about our Baltimore history. Thank you!

What a great idea!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Is that the location used to stage movie projects? Maybe an episode about movies made in Baltimore
Good idea for a future video!
My wife marched in the first Mayors Christmas Parade and sever other times with The Toppers.
Fun!
