I said this on your other video, but still applies: I’ve never watched the 2k league because it’s all generic. Everyone has to do the same thing to win. If I don’t like playing with a pg that just wants to ISO in five out or the big setting screens all game while the 3 other players are in the corner, why would I watch that.
I enjoy watching rec from streamers, but not the same thing over and over. I don’t see them getting more viewership by adding “celebrities,” that’s not their problem.
Maybe if they could have different ways to play and win, it may be different but the league follows the meta and that’s boringgggg.

Glitching the ball back to someone’s hand, the game crashing, and we get penalized for it, ghost contest, shivers, different, shooting, timings, different, shooting timings. different game modes, like proam , theater, event center, Rec , lol all of them are different feels because of servers smh

They should just make it like pro am let the players control the teams put a trade dead line make an event where teams play each other and the best 12 teams or so make the league run the schedule and the winning team gets an automatic invite to the next season add a cash prize or something I’m sure they’ll put a league entry fee or find some way to tax it but something along those lines would be dope give ppl a chance to see their favorite streamers and content creators they ain’t even gotta make a league just sponsor multiple pro am events and go all out for em

I’ve never heard anyone in game chat or anywhere else for that matter want to talk about 2k league. No one cares for it. All that time and effort should’ve been focused on the game itself. To make improvements or certain game enhancements which will actually attract consumers to your game.

The game is garbage…nobody wants to watch a PG do L2 cancels and behind the backs around a screen for 40 mins while the rest of team stand corner and hash…What 2k needs is FUN…We buy 2k buy Vc then grind badges and attributes to still have no fun. Y’all telling me that we can’t get a completely new Rec Center every season, they don’t even have to make it,let us create it and vote on it…Park been dead to me since 2k19 so all i play is rec and occasional proam and that shit is boring too…We have rooftop courts that’s not accessible, locked content behind a “pro pass”, Builds we can’t respec even after getting nerfed,Prices of a build going up while the value of your Vc going down,Horrendous catch animations. Disrespectful latency. I can agree with the guy is saying the league kinda started pretty solid when It first began the it took a decline having a celebrity or favorite ytber brings more popularity to the league. Like look at a game like rainbow six siege they the final tournament called invitational where the final teams compete but before do that they have r6 creators play against each other and they also drop incentives for watching like (alpha packs drops in r6) if 2k was to do something similar like that and incentivise it with like a free vc drop or a guarantee diamond locker etc people would watch that's just imo I just play the game

I agree with this 100%. Sure he should be more prepared and less scared when speaking (using “um” shows this) but the league has been around for over 5 years and players just exposed that they are looking at this opportunity from a “job” perspective (minus a few who created content-that should have been at a higher level).
The league needs to evolve and this may be a blessing in disguise for game development. Based on past experiences in the 2k community, when a celebrity or player critiqued the game advocating for a change, they happened.
Maybe if the right NBA players and celebs play, they may push the communities needs more then ever!

Players shouldn't be suprised by the actions of 2K. Less money spend to players and more towards marketing and pushing the new game. Instead they will invest that money into amplifying current content creators who align with their agenda by encouraging ppl to spend more money. It will ultimately be the downfall of 2k but not as quickly as ppl assume.
Think about it why pay players a salary when I can cut a 1time check to celebrities and content creators for endorsing or streaming tourneys gameplay and promotion. It's business 101 you make your projections of incoming revenue, then cut the funding of the area the presents the biggest risk.. sadly not as many ppl watch 2k league gameplay.
What should've been done is the Ceo Should've made it a requirement for players to in some way reach the casual community either thru broadcasting via ig TH-cam etc then if it don't bear fruit cut it.
Nothing will make me watch 2KL again, it’s all the same stuff, every team every match. 5 out, pick n roll with Crawford behind the back spams for 3. It’s repetitive and utterly boring compared to genuine basketball. There’s no flair, it’s fun to play but it’s incredible soul sucking to spectate for 2-3hrs at these tournaments. 2K league needs to introduce 1v1s instead of 5v5s. Then it’ll get exciting for spectators

2K League and live games aren't very entertaining to watch unless you know who's playing, like a Magic Hornets game on a random channel. Personalities make the game, but if there's no talent then it won't draw interest, either. And League has a weird redraft and high turnover that you people don't stick with a team long enough for it to matter, where you have Pro Am teams owned by stars that won't move to another team.

2k league is beyond boring to watch man. It’s all the same type of play styles and bs. Glitchy animations that exploit holes in the game. It’s lame to watch. Already have to deal with it when playing, why would I want to watch it? Here’s a summary of the “plays” that get run. 2 corner sitters, 1 hash, big screens over and over for pg to hit 17 crossovers or behind the backs. Or sprint left, right, left, right, then sprint right and think they’ll throw them off with it 🙄 repeat until animation kicks in and gets the easy open 3. Or they’ll Jamal Murray behind the back followed by the quick crosses until they crab the defender and then shoot. There’s no REAL basketball IQ in the stuff man. There’s immense 2k video game animation and exploitation IQ. That ain’t the same. In my opinion that makes it insanely lame to watch.

This game is ass! Fix your game first! Fix the defense and the physics in the game! I.E. if a player does that cheese behind the back and the defenders body is there, the ball should not go through your player and the ball handler continues his dribble with zero penalty! 2k rewards bum as players because of their broken game!!!!! That’s just one example!!!
