When my kids were in high school, I was already divorced, and when they would stay with me, I would have to pick them up from school, and we would drive about 25 minutes back to my house. We would listen to a big list of all kinds of music that I liked, and some things they liked too. When my daughter was about 15, and had been listening to the songs for a while, I asked her which was her favorite. I was shocked that she said this song. But, I was proud. I am so glad you did this one. You totally got the message of this song. Cannot wait for more.
The guitarist's mom was Italian/Irish and his dad was a Kenyan revolutionary during the Mau Mau uprising and was Kenya's first ambassador (his great uncle was Kenya's first president) to the United Nations. He graduated from Harvard but couldn't get a job and was an "exotic dancer" until he got into a band. They need to make a movie about him but nobody would believe it. Oh, and he's a really nice guy. Oh, and he says that the Clash was the best band ever. So, there's that.
WOW this IS one of THE **Best** songs of all time & THIS IS THE **BEST BEST REACTION** of ALL time (so far heh) cuz dude i **Luvd** EVERYthing YOU had to say in this reaction! Thank YOU for being **Real** & for sharing your thoughts & feelings **PixieHugz*
Bro. Welcome to the world of RATM. If you want your head to explode, do areaction to Down Rodeo(as in Rodeo drive). You can never go wrong reacting to RATM. Great reaction.
As a reactor, you should LISTEN to the music. You can't do that properly with headphones on over a hoodie. I get it, it's the "persona" you want to present to your audience. Maybe it's just cold. If you want your hood up, use earbuds.
Lol lol, again right from the start, I can tell this is going to be good, oh potty mouth song, lol lol, why do I feel like slam dancing, interesting, love the beat, it gets the blood flowing, damn scratching wow, really interesting, definitely have to listen again, definitely have to check them out, I can get into this, revolution, lol lol, no I really like this, getting some new music for this ol dog, get off my lawn 👴🏼
i was a teenager when this came out - they were trying to tell us then. And we were listening. But then guess what happened? 9/11 in the US then we all of sudden were inundated with pop and country. i feel like it was noticed that we were on the path of a revolution then, so they did something to distract us. And it worked. i hate that so much, but i feel like we are almost there again and this time we will be stronger. Great vid!!

@@stillmrdoge Oh, and he's a REALLY nice guy. If you can, you should meet him.
Bulls on Parade was 90's slang for cops rolling through the 'hood in rows of black suv's, on the way to raid somewhere...

Bulls on parade are riot cops breaking up crowds
Keep covering RATM and the views and likes will come in! I suggest Down Rodeo or Wake Up next
Added ♥️
I also like Down Rodeo and Wake up....
I also am a fan of Down Rodeo, and Wake Up reactions.
@@stillmrdoge Lyrics always on for RATM reactions
@@stillmrdoge throw "Take the Power Back" on the list too
This song is about American military industrial complex. We fund decade after decade of war, while children live in poverty, without shoes or food.
And those who fund RATM also fund that complex, whom RATM defends.
@@MW-cx3sb ummmm ok, you give me an example of Rage defending the military industrial complex.
I must recommend their song down rodeo, the lyrics will shock you, but its supposed to.
10/10 band and reaction my dude, these guys are very political but have an awesome catalog, keep going
