Girls in the 90s literally looked like Barbie dolls. They were so pretty and the fashion was always on point! I also like how they all had their own aesthetic and style. Hillary and Whitley Gilbert had the boujie look, while Brandy had the cute girl next door vibe, and Ashely Banks was the 90s equivalent of being "that girl". Pam from Martin proved that you could dress sexy and be on trend and still have the sophisticated grown woman aura. And of course you had TLC and others for the girls who were not into girly fashion. The 90s was the best decade for fashion period, as someone that is from gen z we really missed out on a good time. I am so thankful for this channel.

Rachel Greene and Hilary Banks! The two are the most Gorgeous and Beautiful female characters. They had the most inspirational and fashionable styles of all time. They both inspire on fashion and glamour. And I can HONESTLY say their hairstyle OMG! I can’t say one is better than the other. The “Rachel” was iconic but that curly hair on Hilary…. WOW ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Kay now I gotta throw a weird curveball one at you. Scarlet from Gone With the Wind had some ICONIC outfits for her time period. You gotta check out that movie if you've never watched it before. She was THAT girl that, love her or hate her, did what she needed to be done and her outfits, chef's kiss. I'd love to see a character analysis about her from you. Because even though it was a different time period she still had to deal with similar issues when it came to navigating her life.
Well that’s why I credit the stylists of the show , but this is about CHARACTERS on tv. You can put a nice outfit on a person and that outfit doesn’t stand out on them but rather the clothes are wearing them and they don’t make you want what they’re wearing . It’s your confidence , your aura , your ability to own a room in what you’re in that makes you standout not the “ Stylist “ . People wear the same outfits , pieces , looks all the time and it will look phenomenal on one person and the next person will look unappealing. A lot of the characters/ actresses had say in what they wore on these shows and worked together with the stylist.

I just broke down how these women made an impact with FASHION not their beauty , the shows are FICTIONAL and light hearted . If you have an issue with fashion being celebrated and women who are celebrated then this is clearly not the channel for you and I mean that in the most respectable way. This is a place of positivity and celebration , the side eyes and negative projection can go.
