This video has definitely helped shape my decision between the rumble 500 combo and the Stage 800. You're the only TH-camr I can find that demos all presets like this! Thank you!
I waited for months to find a great deal on a 500 but when I was finally ready to buy I happened to see these demos so bit the bullet and went for the 800. Waiting for delivery now and I'm psyched!
Allen, bought this based solely off of your two vids. Thanks man, this is a joy to play around with. Fender should send you some free swag for your vids.
Just ordered this amp today. Thank you for the review. Definitely solidified my decision. Tons of band sounds in there. A lot of Eagles, Fleetwood, Rush, Iron Maiden, Earth Wind & Fire, Edgar Winters, Pink Floyd, Aerosmith, Beatles, George Clinton, Level 42, ABBA, Sly Stone, Yes, Jaco Pastorius and more
Hey there, Allen; I’ve just in the past month begun bass lessons, and I purchased the smaller Studio 40 version of this amp. I loved your videos sampling of all the loaded presets and how someone with talent and musicianship can make them sound! I really look forward to (hopefully) becoming halfway decent and be able to play sweet licks as you demonstrated on these videos - peace, man!😎
Thanks for taking the time to demo this amp.. beside the great tone that it has, I’m loving all those FX that it comes with. Another big money saver for me.. Thanks again for taking the time to go over them all..👍🏾👍🏾
Your wild man Lol the part of you playing the love of money during church is hilarious, I bought the TC electronics BG250 cause of your recommendation in which it went out on me but it's been repair over 3 weeks now, I need that Fender Amp man it's getting hard trying to keep up with you Bully good review of this dope amp man.
AL B so Guitar Center Pro coverage team hit me back after month in a week to tell me my TC Elec. BG 250 combo was not fixable and they issued me an E-Card to purchase another Bass amp you already know the 800 is on my menu so I did some research on those combos and noticed a lot of people were having problems with the electronics going out, something to do with that dam tone print anyway I got a Fender American Deluxe 5 I might as well keep it moving with Fender thanks for the tutorial it actually helped me pick out the tones I would want to use.
Watching these two videos pushed me to order this amp today. I also play in a praise band. I think I’ll have to try and play “Money” by Pink Floyd while the offering plate goes around tomorrow.
On Day Tripper mode, you should have played that iconic opening riff the Beatles did on their song ' Day Tripper." That's probably the bass sound Paul used. Thanks, though for this video! I heard the effects voices and got ideas. This will be THE AMP, once I get the $ for it.
Love some of the sounds but how quickly can you dial them up on this amp if like me you are a singer bassist and whilst talking to the audience you have limited time between songs ???
I'm assuming 92 Red Barchetta was homage to the Rush song and 93 is a nod to Tool, it kind've does sound like the Undertow album. Several of the effect names seem to be named after songs/albums/lyrics that probably inspired them.
Great Demos (1&2) on the amps effect features...... Thanks. Out of curiosity, what do you usually set the amp's tone settings at? The Gain, Treble, Mids, and Bass. I know the effects selections have the tone settings being changed somewhat. You see it on the digital readout as you move through each one.
Quick coupla questions. 1. what was the volume set to for the vid and any idea what the dB would be at that setting? 2. any idea what hertz it drops to? Great vid. Was looking for a demo of all the modulations and this and the previous video satisfied every itch. Great work.
@@BullyThaKidd OK. I've looked all over for the hertz but no info sadly. Just a bit concerned this won't give the same thump as my head and cab separates. Is it really loud enough to stand up in a gig environment? I normally DI into the desk of our PA and my audio team do the rest and mix it to my IEM'S but I still like a bit of bleed in where the noise cancelling of the IEM'S doesn't quite cut out all the sound. I'm sure this amp will blow me away but I'm just not convinced.
@@leonbateman1529 I'm gonna say that it is 500 watts alone... 800 watts if you pair it with a 8 or 4 ohm cab... I have played theaters and festivals with this rig with no pa support and it stomps
Great video! I'm very happy to see that. I like you play man! if this amplifier is not emergency and is it enough to play in a band with drums, guitar....in the rock band?
You still like this amp? I'm thinking about something small and powerful to gig with rather than my markbass or mesa stack.....are the tones very digital sounding/feeling or natural? Thanks also, powerwise I'm use to 4x10's wonder how this would do on its own for smaller gigs
Hey Billy, your video has inspired me to buy this fender amp! It will be delivered on wed this week! I was wondering if you have tried the ext cab for it and how did it do as far as volume and clarity?
A lot, if not all of the presets are references to songs or musicians. I've only caught a few. 95, bass in the saddle is back in the saddle aerosmith which was played on a bass vi, undertow is tool, one of these days is Eagles,
Red Barchetta and Limelight are Rush songs. Many others are named directly or indirectly, but One Of These Days is a song on Pink Floyd's album Meddle. It has a very distinctive echo delay on it that is hard to replicate, but they give you something close here. The Eagles sound pretty clean and this would not be their effect.
I have the little brother to this (Rumble 40 studio has the same exact electronics except in a 1x10+horn 40 watt amp.) and it does have a backup/restore feature... just in case.

Seriously fender should sponsor you, because these two videos of you playing just made them another sale. Thanks man.
I wish they would sponsor me that would make my year... SO FENDER IF YOU ARE WATCHING HIT ME UP LOL
Agreed. Bought this exact amp from Sweetwater right after seeing these
Allen, bought this based solely off of your two vids. Thanks man, this is a joy to play around with. Fender should send you some free swag for your vids.

Jeremy, how is the amp holding up?

One of the coolest bass demos around

Your videos are always very helpful! Thank you! The guitar hanging up to the left is so cool
Jackie J thank you.
Great Allen, definitively I went to small brother Rumble Studio 40, same amp, 40 watt indeed a great home toy!

Very nice demo and playing. Thank you.
By far the best videos for this amp. Much appreciated! Too bad the price went up $100
You're a great player bro thanks for the videos on this amp. Mine's on its way, I'm stoked. You just gained another sub
Thanks and welcome

I like the videos. Im sold. How has the foot switch help up? My only concern.
Great video! Looked like you were having as much fun as I was watching! Thank you.
Very, very nice!
very nice
MY next bass gear purchase!

I was going to buy a Rumble 500. Screw that! Buying the 800 instead. Way more bang for the buck. Thanks!!

Gary Beazley I usually put:
Gain: 6/10
Bass: 6/10
Mid:4/10
Treble: 7/10
That's my setting for all my amps
Nice demo. Getting the 40 watt soon.
For the love of money while the collection plate is being passed around--that bit cracked me up.
True story tho

I tried to keep everything neutral. So 12 o'clock. And I don't know the technical specs for dbs and stuff.

@BullyThaKidd a festival with no PA support is crazy 🤣🫡
Thanks for the video on the Fender 800. Sounds amazing! What boom bass tank are you using with it? 1400 watt 1x10 1x15?
this video i think im using just the fender rumble stage 800... but i did pair it with my Boom Bass Cabinet tank 1015.
Great video! I'm very happy to see that. I like you play man! if this amplifier is not emergency and is it enough to play in a band with drums, guitar....in the rock band?
Yep it is.. if not add an extension cab

Bully would you need a Zoom B6 Bass Multi-Effects Processor if you have the Fender Stage 800? Is this compatible or over kill?
Can you feel it allohover! Nice Effects!
Thanks for the great demo. What are those pink strings?
Dr neons

I believe that #59, #97, and #98 are all The Beatles. #86 must be Fleetwood Mac.
Interested - can you back it up, in case something happens to the amp?. And, will we get to hear any patches you've written?
Thats a good question. Im not sure. As far as me creating sounds I haven't played with it to much yet
I have the little brother to this (Rumble 40 studio has the same exact electronics except in a 1x10+horn 40 watt amp.) and it does have a backup/restore feature... just in case.
Hey sir I'm a really big fan I got a 4 string dean but I wanna know if you would give me a fender I like how they sound
Keshun Campbell whaaaaa no
Why not
Please man I just want something that sounds right
Keshun Campbell equipment doesn't substitute for practice. Tone comes from your fingers.
Allen Brown how much did you pay for that amp
And your funny to lol
😂😂😂😂
Melvin Hunt what's funny
