I bought another top box which was the Givi V47NNT. And bracket Givi SRA5138B. The reason why I swap because my passenger either wife or daughter they complain about they are leaning forward. Now with my Givi setup the comfort is night and day! Also, i found givi is more premium and quality is better. Removing the top box reveal a good looking bracket too. Single piece if aluminum not unlike shad that you have 2 brackets on top of bmw mounting rack..

Honestly I never checked thr weight. I start with an emergency kit, lunch box, then when we get to our destination, I leave 2 full helmets and 2 jackets, and take out our lunch box...

I have washed my bike several times with the top case on while following the SHAD instruction by not directing the air pressure gun directly towards the case, and I didn't see any water leak. I rode the bike in the rain with the top case and my belongings were dry and safe.
Have you had any issues with the shad? Cracking, screws coming loose, have you done trips with it fully loaded etc? I have same bike and thinking about shad box

The top case never affected my motorbike stability, even while riding through gust wind. I have not surpassed the 187 km/h so I can't answer your last question.

i was looking to replace my st1300 and wanted something just as tall as honda's old top box i know shad made the original 48 but honda rebranded it, did you fit the led brake kit as well if so how is it? and have you had any problems in full expanded with water ingress in heavy rain?

I think that all the top cases are limited to 180kmh
